Is this possible in video poker? Is there already a game like this? Something like, randomly (sort of like the STP multiplier, or maybe based on you getting a 4oak or something) you'll get X free hands (instead of spins). I think that would be super fun, but I've never heard of anything like this. I think the closest is Wheel Poker Deluxe, but those aren't actual free hands - they're free hands given a predefined starting hand.

Extra Draw Frenzy is a little bit like this.

Quote: TortoiseTriple Trouble has exactly this feature, if you're dealt 3 devils (randomly assigned) you get bonus hands and multipliers.
Whoa, I've never even heard of this... that sounds awesome. I'm gonna see if I can try to find it online or something, thanks!

In casinos it's on select Bally gamemakers.

According to the Wizard, 7/5 returns about 97.48%. Best I've ever seen is 8/5 which should be in the mid to high 98s.

MGM here has it. I'll have a look at it later.

Extra Draw Frenzy at videopoker.com
As has already been pointed out, Extra Draw Frenzy is a bit like this. Dealt 3oK awards extra hands.
Annoyingly, dealt 4oK and dealt Full House do not. (This is annoying in the case of certain paytables and dealt aces full, where "correct strategy" is to keep the 3 aces and throw the other two, since the 4A payout is so high.)
The WoO page seems to list "an extra 3 to 7 hands", but I believe this is for the 3 line version. I fairly commonly get 13, 14 or 16 hands when playing 5 line. I haven't seen the help screens.
Try it out; I rather enjoy the little song it sings when the bonus triggers (although, the "Hot Roll!" sound effects are pretty good, too.)

10 pay ExDF gets the most hands. And remember, they only come around every 47 hands (if I remember right) or so on average.

$0.25, $0.50, & $1.00. All are 7/5, referring to Triple Trouble Poker.

I have a game working through the patent office right now that awards timed free play. The game is called lightning poker and is based on speed once the bonus is triggered. I have some information about it on my website.
