Loose dueces wild at the D has a negative house edge over 1%

Are you serious? Negative house edge means casino giving free money in long term, I guess you are talking about return rate, it may be over 100%. But no gamble games have a negative house edge.
Its free Value (Actual Results May Vary) you don't get 100% of your money back each hand. You can win $200 on 1 hand or lose .25 for many hands. You need to learn optimal strategy and stick to it. It's only worth a few bucks an hr. If you play enough hands, you should make money.Quote: foxrichAre you serious? You probably need 1500k to be fairly safe if you plan on playing it 1000 hrs . I'm not sure if they send mail/free play/comps etc for playing that machine. I doubt I have ever played it.
You are better off finding Full play deuces wild @ .50 denomination.

First, you need to learn to read, understand, and compare paytables. While you're at it, you need to factor in the coin in / point rates, and your point redemption rate.
Second, you need to compare your tolerance of differing degrees of variance to your bankroll. It's not all about RTP.
Out here in the nowheres, the best tables (RTP) I've seen are generally on DW44 or TDB. The variance is higher on these games than JoB, so if you're not ready to ride it out, the casino stands to make more money off you.
And yes, 100%+ paytables exist. The house makes their money off variance and suboptimal play in this case, because some players aren't ready to ride it out.
Quote: darthxaosThe house doesn't make money off variance, the house is only concerned with the long run. The house solely makes money off player error and the "loss leader" marketing factor of the machine.
Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if the house made very little on full pay deuces machines. It's a marketing loss leader more than anything.
