i've been living in vegas for over a year now, and played a few sessions at pretty much half the casinos in VPFree2 or the Vegas Advisor book, so far.
i recently saw a QQ Wheel Poker machine at Eastside Cannery for $0.05 denom; can't remember the paytables off the top of my head, though. i'll try to remember to make a note of them the next i'm in there to play it.
in any case, how would you calculate the EV for that machine? it's a 7-coin max bet, 3 or 5 hands, and a QQ hand will trigger the wheel bonus.
i've never seen this game anywhere else; i love playing QQ and wheel poker independently already, so this has quickly become one of my new favorites.
in any case, thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Maybe JB can explain this weighting of this game further, since it is included in the "video poker analyzer".

And it is a rare game in Nevada, only 11 machines left. I've personally seen it at Mirage in February.

The average wheel spin is worth 50860/323 ≈ 157.46 credits.
Quote: tringlomaneTo get the EV for the machine exactly, you need to know the weight of the wheel, and it's not equal among all the pieces.

Is this accurate? I played it at NYNY a couple of months ago and I'm pretty sure that there was more than 1 machine.

it certainly is rare -- eastside cannery removed their sole machine, and the only other place i've seen it is at silverton, or south point.
ellis island removed their quick quads upright machines, and sam's town took one off the end of the bank by dunkin donuts and replaced with with an ultimate x machine...
WHERE IS THE QUICK QUADS HIDING?!!

what were the paytables at NYNY? probably pretty dismal...
At SP, there are two machines.

Mirage should still have its Wheel QQ machine. MGM has a 50 play quick quad for nickels with 7/5 Bonus. I like to play that one while being cheap, you can bet as little as one line.
