I have not found the information on vpfree2 to be very accurate, so I'm wondering if it's just a matter of "you get what you pay for"?
Quote: tringlomaneFrom what I have read, it isn't much better. But I am just going off what I have read on here and elsewhere.
I would guess that it's much worse, unless the information is copied from vpfree2. Here's a prior discussion:

I like vpfree2 a lot. It may be incomplete or inaccurate for obscure geographic areas, but it's almost certainly the best such resource that has ever existed, IMO.
Ill split the cost with you, how long is the subscription for?Quote: AxiomOfChoiceIs their information accurate? Is it generally up to date? I don't mind paying the $15 or $20 every 3 months if the information is correct.

I'm not really worried about the cost; more about it being a waste of time. If there is good information out there I will gladly pay for it. It is $20 for 3 months, or $15 to renew for another 3 months. I don't care about the $60/year, but I don't want to waste my time.
vpfree2 had some incorrect information about an almost-local casino for me (yup, I learned to play JW2 for nothing). They also have incorrect information about the slot club. I submitted a comment (admittedly anonymous) about the slot club and nothing was changed, so I didn't bother to correct their JW2 listing. I have no idea if I should trust them any more. Maybe it's more accurate for Vegas?
I was looking at it earlier and it listed a certain spin poker game as single-play. What does that even mean? I thought that spin poker was always 3 hands with multiple lines.

Occasionally on vpfree I see similar complaints about vpfree2, but not so much recently.

That's their convention. If the spin poker is "deluxe," they include a note in the location field.
I'm not sure how the site is monetized, but I believe the update submissions are all-volunteer, which may produce less reliable results than something like Wong's CBJN, where he actually compensates people to conduct inventories.

Yeah, VPFree2 is as good as its volunteers who report. Some areas/casinos have not been updated in a longgggggg time. I did a massive update for KC in January, as no one updated it in a long time before that, and I was willing to burn possible gambling time for it.. I have some more updates from February that I have been very lazy to write up and report on. And it definitely is frustrating when whatever you submit is not input into the database. It's happened to me a few times.
As for Spin Poker, the 1 Play differentiates it from "Triple Spin Poker" which would be 3 Play.
From looking at What's New on vpFREE2.com, I see that updates are submitted and made almost every day. Something obviously went very wrong with yours. You could use the Contact Us link and let the site owner know about this and get it fixed.Quote: AxiomOfChoicevpfree2 had some incorrect information about an almost-local casino for me (yup, I learned to play JW2 for nothing).
