This occurred at Genteng Resorts World at Aqueduct racetrack at about 2:30 AM today, October 9.
I'm posting this because I wonder what the probability of this happening is. I thought it was so incredibly improbable that I stopped playing immediately, because I don't picture things happening better than this in succession.
I was playing with max bets on 10 play at .25 A max bet on those machines is 20X. I was playing 10 games at a time at $5 a game, a $50 bet each time I pressed the button.
The cards drawn on the bottom hand were garbage so I saved none and took my chances with all ten hands.
I received at the bottom 4 of a kind Aces. Above, another 4 of a kind 7's. Three Flushes. Two Full Houses. And a Straight.
Of ten hands played at one time, 8 were winners.
The 4 of kind paid $125 twice -- $250
The 3 Flushes paid $30 each -- 90
The 2 Full Houses paid $45 each -- 90
The Straight paid $40 -- 40
A total of $450 won on $50 bet.
I was chasing my losses by putting $200 in the machine and playing $50 each time, but after this happened, I STOPPED. I did not expect anything like that to happen a second time. What are the chances of it happening? I don't know.

You made the right choice to stop.
The machines at Resorts World are VLTs and there is very little likelihood
that you would have done better than this as the machines are not random.
They resemble slot machines and VP machines but they are not the same.

It's because it's Aqueduct and your machine is a Video Lottery Terminal and not a gaming machine. When you initiated your draw your machine (all ten hands) are one instance to the main computer you are tied to (as everyone in the building is tied to the same results computer). You were lucky and were deemed a winner, now the second RNG determines your payout, and that is for your one game (10 hands on that machine is one game), and the determination of how it's paid can be created any number of ways. So you didn't really hit 8 of 10 wins, but one win split on your screen multiple times.
It's like your NY lottery ticket. You may win with 3 different coins or matching numbers but you didn't win 3 times as the cards code was already determined before you scratched. NYer know the code T-E-N for ten, F-I-V for five, F-T-Y for fifty, H-U-N for hundred. So the payout was already predetermined on that card. It's really not remarkable that the NY VLTs impress when they do hit because it is the creation of the programmers imagination on how to pay the winnings on multi-play machines

I used to play Class II Bingo machines at an Alabama racino for kicks when I used to live in Atlanta. I would intentionally hold all 5 cards on a nonpaying hand and "hope for a genie"...lol Or throw away trips, just so I could get trips back. :) I wish I would have taken a photo of a "genie" showing up. Also this was the only place where I have hit a slot jackpot. It was on Texas Tea for $200 for an 18 cent wager. Technically, I hit some pattern of 22 successful bingo calls in 47 pulls or something crazy like that which equated to the 10,000 credit jackpot.
If NY treats video poker the same way on VLTs, is it possible OP misread the dealt hand and OP had 2 pair that would have hit a full house? Although throwing away both pairs would have been a pretty big oversight.

VLT poker at a NY racino equates to a machine that pays 92% because that's what NY lottery pays on all games, regardless of the pay table because it's not up to chance of the cards but of the casino server. You'd be better playing a slot machine because the odds are about the same as in a real casino, but video poker becomes a big ripoff.
