Just thought I would share.
Quote: TimboJust got back from Biloxi. Played the bubble craps machine at Treasure Bay casino for perhaps 12-14 hours while I was there with good results. This may be boring to some of you guys, but I would usually play the iron cross for a few rolls, then once I had a profit, I would reduce or even take my bets down to insure I made a profit. I had 7 sessions of about 2 hours a piece and won 6 out the 7 sessions. I didn't win big but usually won about 50 bucks or so for each session....I'm not getting rich by any means, but I'll take that every time!
Just thought I would share.

What comps does that play get you? Congrats on the wins.
Pros---I'm getting older so I enjoy that I can sit down while I'm playing
You don't have to listen to dealers make smart comments if you take your bets down or reduce them
Your balance is always displayed on the screen
There is no one to tip
Ability to make very small wagers
Cons---I sort of missed the synergy of the group at the table. Nothing beats a hot table atmosphere.
It's fun to roll the dice
So to me, the pros outweigh the cons, but I'm sure I will play the real table again someday....
Quote: TimboThey had one real craps table at the Treasure Bay Casino in Biloxi. Min bet was only 5 bucks when I was there which was on a weekday. I'm guessing it's a 10 dollar table on the weekend. I'm a low roller so I don't know what the max bet is.

Is the bubble craps machine on the first floor or the second floor where the buffet is, and how many players can be accommodated at the machine?

In Biloxi, generally, one does not have to "buy" the 4/10. When it hits you pay the vig.

I believe most casinos charge vig on 4/10 on win only.Quote: tuttigymQuote: Ace2Lay the 4 and buy the 10.

So what do you call it then? You’re not placing it or laying it.

The player yells "QUATRO" and throws his bet at the box man.

Only if it hits. I would expect that there are many casinos currently that require a pre-buy, for me, I would not indulge.
