Quote: Rigondeaux
Meaning there is plenty of truth in what he says. And it is true that our society is so pro woman anti male it is like a comedy sketch. I think even basic advice for men, like women might get pregnant to trap you, is now conidered misogyny because it suggests that women are less than 100% good and that it's ok for a man to look out for himself.
Tom is like a comedy sketch in the opposite direction. And maybe some guys need to hear that stuff. But the problem is if you are a credulous type with low self esteem yourself and you make it your gospel, you'll kind of make a fool of yourself.
Tom always said the same as LImbaugh did, that his job is to get the highest ratings possible so he can charge the highest ad rates he can. The fact that he voted for Hillary shows much of the show is an act. He used to do an unrelated show on wine or something, different format. Like Stern, he takes it to the extreme to play to an audience.
That being said, the show is great listening. A good break from the misandry of mainstream shows. The man knows how to rile up female haters. And the dopey guys that call in, guys destined to be on the edge of life forever, broke from child support, the guys make you feel better about your own life. I laugh because Tom is right, for life they will be changing my oil and bringing me a second order of fries at Red Robin.
I do not know about EB, but I went MGTOW before I ever heard the term. In my younger days it was impossible to find a woman who did not have or want kids. Only ones who did not were wacko feminists who hate men. Some of them had men, weak willed men. But to date a woman who wants kids when you do not is a recipe for disaster. Dating single mothers? Just say NO. Nothing to gain, Tom is totally right there. Worst is that they do not get why men do not want them.
Get older and you realize or have confirmed that Tom is right on being alone. Go where you want, do what you want. when you want. Live like you want. While I have long given up hope of finding someone, been about six years since I even looked or cared. See how many famous bachelors there were in history. If said guys were married, they would have been nothing.

His other show was called the tasting room. It was very good and he was his real self, a pretty different guy.
Being a MGTOW might work for you but obviously you are missing out on a lot. I have a friend who is like that.
ZK i can forgive, because he is 25 and it's ZK. He's obsessed with coming out ahead vs the endless scams that society has engineered to ensnare him. Thus his outlook is based on goals like never being cheated on. Maybe now just having fun is the right thing for him and he makes some good points.
Bob's girlfriends wouldn't do it with him and left for prior bfs.
So if you want to have a happy relationship, which is very possible, this would not be my panel of experts.
One thing that is largely a myth is that hot women are constantly being picked up and pumped and dumped by wicked lotharios. I was talking to an ex strpper acquaintance recently and what's most striking is that these girls so often date average, unambitous guys. They dont really unerstand their own power. Anyway, if you know a lot of pretty women, it's really scenarios like that. Not so much them shaking their fist in the air after another Leykus 101 student has gotten over on them.
I read the 101 thing and found some of it ok and some silly. Go to a bar wearing dark clothing and sit by yourself. Hot women will just start flocking to you. Good luck w that.
I think the main thing to take away from a guy like Tom is more general life advice, which is now taboo for men. The wrong women, of which there are plenty, can obliterate your life and be rewarded for it. Be extra careful with birth control and so forth.

No, you misunderstand.
"Yes them to death" means to not argue with her, especially if she objects to you doing something.
"Do as you please" does not mean to"get away with whatever you can;" it means to "actually do whatever you wanted to do in the first place."
Never let her stop you from doing what you feel is really important..
If it blows up in your face, well hey, you did what you wanted to do so who cares?
Apologies are easy, and women love to forgive: it's in their nature.

Yeah, I heard the name but never the show. Good entertainers like Leykis, Stern, and Limbaugh turn their acts on and off. Limbaugh was once on "This Week" and people asked about his manor the next day. He said that when he is a guest, he has to be on "their show" so he does it their way. I first heard Leykis in 1996, then mostly not until 2006 or so. In 1996, he covered way more politics and other issues. Over the years, the Leykis101 thing and relationships clearly drove the show, so by 2006 that is most of what it was. That and the sorry state of too many younger women in today's society. It made him millions.
As to "missing out on a lot" no, not at all. The few months I was in a relationship, I did not care for it. There has not been one moment in my life when I desired to have kids. Seriously, not one. I see so many just plain awful relationships that it is not worth it. Even when it is good, you have to check in on every little thing. Keep it.

I have met few hot women who are not attached and not a total disaster area. Ambitious guys are not going to have a GF who gets undressed and crawls over strange men for money six nights a week. I still remember one was hitting on a guy in our group, hard. She was about 22 and her kids were IIRC 5 and 7. I whispered to him, "DO THE MATH!" She heard me and was POed. Like I cared. That was 2005, I figure right about now the oldest has his GF knocked up, set to repeat the cycle. Sure, some are working their way thru school. For every one of those I'd wager there are 3 who are on the pole because they have zero other skills to earn a living.

Never heard him say the dark clothing thing. I'm too old now so they are not going to flock. The slightly older ones who might flock all have kids and maxed out credit cards.
Take the "pump em and dump em" humor out and the advice is really good. He tells guys to get educated (but IMHO is too much on college and too down on trades, part of his CA attitude.) He tells them to never trust a woman for birth control. Don't let them move in, or they will be impossible to get rid of, to do so you may have to leave your house or apartment for a new one and tell her she is not welcome (legally, this may be true where you live!) He says don't get married too young, not before your late 20s. That if you are male, family court is totally biased and stacked against you.
But the best advice I hear him say is that "if a woman lets herself get pregnant, she wanted to have a baby!" Women live in a fantasy world here. It never enters this kind of woman's head as to how she will manage on here own. She thinks the guy will just marry her and it will be a happy life. It rarely is. And it is another repeating cycle. One woman called, knocked up at about 18, and Tom got out of her that her mother was not even 40. "HOW DID I KNOW?!" he said.
Quote: aceofspadesI was talking to one of the security guards in the hotel about how crazy the nightclub line is - he told me ladies get in free before midnight so the line gets insane -- I asked him what they charge the men -- he said “Right now, it is $75” then added “depending on how many women are in the club, they raise the admission prices” - finally stating that he has seem them charge men as much as $300 each to get in
The stupidity of some men never ends. I always hated clubs, but $300? Heck, even $75?
No wonder gaming is less and less what they care about.
Quote: AZDuffmanBut to date a woman who wants kids when you do not is a recipe for disaster.
Agree. My 'single years' were age 50-54. It seemed like every woman someone tried to fix me up with was 38. At one point 3 consecutive women were 38 (odds?) Even if the first date was nothing more than coffee at Starbucks, I would broach the subject of children. If I even sensed ambiguity about the subject, I would politely figure out the best way to not have a second date. I have two age cohorts, one now with a toddler, the other still trying to get pregnant with his hot young wife. Not for me.

Knowing your ex, and following her on FB, that's an especially laughable thought. She is astonishing. And seems to have no trouble finding companionship whenever she wants it.
Leykis101 seems like graduate school for Neverland boys. Probably a good thing they avoid reproducing.
Like any other niche of self-help, many of these ‘dating experts’ have become millionaires several times over charging hundreds for their video courses and books.
I think it’s all garbage.

When you're right, your're right. Women, they're the worst... and the best!

Leykis is not about having trouble
dating. He's about figuring out how
women think. My dating days are
long gone, I could care less now.
I listen because I can examine my life
in retrospect and see what was going
on with the women I got involved with.
For this, Tom and his experience and
insights are golden.
He made every mistake in the book and
admits it. Divorced 4 times? Good god.
But he has a genius IQ and was eventually
able to figure out what was going on
and pass it on to the rest of us.
He never says there aren't good women out
there. He does say there are many that have
an agenda and are good at hiding it and
you have to guard against it at all times. Most
of the time what you get, especially in an
attractive woman, is not what you think you're
getting.
Many women are plotters and schemers, and
men tend to be realists and dreamers, and it's
hard to spot the schemers for us. I'll mention
Carson again. He was extremely intelligent,
yet couldn't see, even after two failed marriages,
that he might get screwed again by a woman.
He was a dreamer and a lover, men like that
have no defenses against what many women
are.

The ice situation at Cromwell would irritate me to no end.
I almost met you last Oct 27th 2017.
I was staying downtown and I knew the Oceans gang was having dinner at Carson's Kitchen but I couldn't afford that place.
I saw a tweet that said you were all moving to the Four Queens afterwards...so I went there and laid in wait.
But I guess the plan changed and you guys were all at the D.
So close.
Maybe next time.
(I did hit for $400 while I waited so that was good.)
