He's obviously lying.
His first post outlines his bonafides as an online gambling industry insider; his second says he's new to gambling.

Nothing from Ace in 15 hours, is he still
in Vegas?

I am guessing he fell madly in love and decided nothing could be better than a shotgun marriage in Vegas.

I heard he got caught using the speed count and got back roomed.
I'm waiting, so far I'm waiting patiently.
Tomorrow morning I dial 911 if no change.......
Didn't he indicate he was staying for the weekend ?Quote: EvenBob18 hours and not a peep, is he home?
I can only assume a few things.
1) He ran bad, took out a credit line dusted off that, then pawned the Rolex but lost that also. So he Headed home busted and disgusted and wanted to spoil your fun by keeping you in the dark.
2) B79 finally got him.
3) He's pissed off Kentry got nuked.
4) He locked himself in the safe and forgot he was there.
Lady in red seduced him, turned him away from his celebat ways then stool his watch, money, and phone.
I have yet to actually get involved with Twitter. I think I made an account long ago, but never sent or received a tweet. I though at first casinos may send out new promotion alerts or something. I haven't really seen or heard of anything worthwhile coming via Twitter.Quote: mipletHis last tweet was 8 hours ago. You are following him on Twitter, right?
I really don't care what the stars are doing. I don't need people knowing what i'm doing. I can text my friends and ask what they are doing. Am I missing anything? Any legitimate reasons to become a Twit?

I went there and apparently he lost his whole
BR on Friday and is in Vegas with no money
to play with.

#Vegas is very depressing when your bankroll is lost (3 days left on trip ughhhhh)
He didn't announce it here because he probably
thinks my reaction will be:
It's not, I would never feel that way. Almost never..

On Thursday, I got halfway back from the 10 I was down--a friend from grade school who is now a Vegas local invited me out to explore the local scene and I politely declined, believing I was about to get all the back from the 10 -- I should have went out instead of hitting the tables...
The anti-run I had was mind-blowing---I lost double down after double down...nothing better than a 17 on any of them
The dealers magically made 21 from the depths of 12 through 16 whereas I would bust 12 virtually automatically...
By the time the slaughter was over, the bankroll was gone, all 12500
I took yesterday off from playing at all (meaning I didn't hit the ATM for funds) and actually took my friend up on his offer to explore - however, the exploration did not take us too far -- as we went to HYDE at Bellagio where my friend was [thisclose] to being assaulted by an 80-pound Filipina lesbian for apparently dancing too close to a group of females she apparently had laid claim too -- security had to escort her out as she threw some wild punches and lunged at my friend!!!
Then, I get a tap in my shoulder and it is a former host from the Revel who landed out here in Vegas - small world
I did not arise until about 2pmPST today and made the decision to give it one last shot at the tables and, should I not have a modicum of success, take a 6 month break from the gaming tables
So, I sat down and within a shoe had regained 450
Had a snack and then resumed play, only to see the 450 go down the tubes as the dealers once again made 21 their mantra
Took a deep breath and started again, this time gaining 675 back--only to see the dealers swipe it all away again on 999 split with a double on two of them losing to another dealer 21
Took a shower and began play yet again, finally making some headway with the final hand of a 2D game yielding the following hand:
333 split against 2 - on first 3 got a 6 then a 7 for 16 -- on second 3 got an 8 and doubled for an 18 -- on third 3 got a 6 and 8 for 17 -- dealer has 2, turns over a 9 then draws a 4 then an 8 for a bust!
that 2D shuffle yielded 1100
dinner break

That's a rough crowd you hang with, Ace.
Glad to hear my, err, your weekend isn't
over yet. Still time for me, err, you, to get
some satisfaction.

Bob, way down deep, I know you want me to win rather than have a 6 month hiatus
-on 5 straight 6D shoes, the dealer opened with a BJ
-each time a player entered mid-shoe (without the courtesy to ask) -- I would lose at least the next 5 hands
-each time I raised my bet, the dealer would get a BJ
(the above was played $50minimum)
sure, these are all explainable on the bell curve but, in the moment, they seem freaky
I took a brief respite from this and resumed play after a Starbucks iced skinny vanilla latte
I then switched to a 2D 100 game which was much kinder to me
Not only did I get the 1k back I had lost , I got back 1k of the 1100 I had regained today
so, as of bedtime, I have regained 1k of the 12500

Says Sancho to Don Quixote.
Dealer blackjack followed by three hands in a row as follows:
-7,4 v dealer 10 doubled and dealt a 4 -- dealer 20
-2,2 v dealer 6 split and dealt a 10 and a 10 -- dealer has a 5 underneath and draws an 8 for 19
-9,2 v dealer 9 doubled and dealt a 3 -- dealer turns over an Ace for 20
the 1k I went to sleep with was gone after one shuffle of double deck
I regrouped and shifted over to 6D game
The first half of the shoe was more of the same and I was quickly down another 1k and feeling a "tilt" coming on
However, I took a few deep breaths and relaxed and waited for an opportunity---which came midway through the shoe---I was able to press and win some doubles and by the end of the shoe had not only regained the 1k I was down from the beginning of the shoe, but the 1k I had unceremoniously lost earlier this morning
I took a breakfast break and resumed play -- nothing much to write home about other then getting a BJ on the first hand of a new 6D game and then, after a few surrendered hands, making a little run and picking up 500
as it stands, trip is now -11
I will not tell you to look for fat dealers or skinny dealers, or ladies of any description....
Sounds like you already got your hands full (pun intended!
I did like when you stopped to take a few deep breaths, I cheered out loud, very loud.
I got weird looks, I did not get arrested, or held for psych evaluation.
I think they thought I was watching football......
Maybe they thought it was soccer....
moving onwards and upwards, I played a couple of mini-sessions and was able to pick up 500 in each one -- this brings me to 2500 towards the comeback
(while getting the entire 12500 back would be amazing, I am shooting for 6 and then evaluate where I am when I get there as far as time left on the trip)
Trip is -10
was dealt 9,9 v dealer 3
as I slid my chip out to split the 9's, the dealer flipped her down card over revealing another 3
the pit boss came over and questioned whether I indeed wanted to split -- the dealer immediately jumped in and said it was her mistake and I had been sliding the chip out
the pit boss then gave me he option of splitting the 9's or playing 18 v the dealer 3,3
I split them of course and was dealt an Ace on each and the dealer busted
I assume I was correct in continuing to split them even after seeing the down card
Quote: GWAEYou should have doubled after you got the 20s
No, he did it right. You only double vs 13-16.
trip is -9500
Quote: aceofspadesSo should I have doubled...?
No. You played it perfectly correct. You only double A,9 vs a hard 13-16.
Quote: IbeatyouracesNo, he did it right. You only double vs 13-16.
Yeah I know, it was just a joke..he asked if he should have still split. Maybe I should have said, you should ask if you could up your bet then split.
I don't count so I don't know the answer, but would you ever double a9 vs 33. Seems to me the 2nd 3 makes the count even better so if you start the hand in positive this Xtra info would make me double. Maybe for longevity it would be a bad move since the floor is already at the table.
switched tables
back and forth roller coaster then had the following:
9,2 v dealer 10 doubled and drew a 2 -- dealer had a 6 underneath then drew an Ace
6,3 v dealer 5 doubled and got the Ace -- dealer, naturally, has a 5 under and draws her own Ace
5,4 v dealer 6 doubled and got a 6 -- dealer had a 2 underneath and drew a Jack
at this point I had lost another 1k and my 3k comeback was reduced to a 1k comeback - but, the cards changed and I got the 2k back with the help of actual winning doubles!!!
trip still -9500
I moseyed on out to the main floor and played a 50 game 2D
caught a nice run in one shuffle and gained another 500
A funny thing happened on one hand - I was dealt a 9,3 v dealer 3 and I hit and drew a 9 for 21 - the dealer proceeded to swipe my chips away - everyone at the table started hollaring (in a nice way-not being mean) and the dealer turned red in embarrassment - pit boss came over and I told him I actually meant to double - he told me the count didn't dictate that deviation lol was a fun moment
