I love it! How long have you been lurking? What made you finally decide to take the plunge and post here?
For the record, I have only told one person in the world that I am a member here and that's my wife. I have directed people to this site but that's it. I would never tell anyone about my membership here. A lot of people mention this site in the casinos. I'm waiting for the day that one of them refers to something that I've posted. It hasn't happened yet.
I do believe that there are a few people here who cherish me. :-) Define cherish. :-)
The sad thing is, if you're actually really good, you don't want people to know you're a member or have any kind of ties from your name to your username here (as 1BB pointed out). Do you mostly play slots then?

I feel exactly the same way. I direct people here..or to WOO, if they seem interested in learning something about the games they are playing. But I never tell anybody I'm a "member", I've meet a few other members in person over the last couple of years, so they know obviously. But I never bring it up in the casino to someone I don't know. My wife things I'm a little around the bend about this stuff. But don't they all.

I am more than happy to mention this site and WOO and have gotten many rave reviews from the folks who have logged on as a result of my recommendation. More than one person has told me that they stayed up all night taking it all in and couldn't believe where the time went.
I believe that it is safe for me to mention WOO in a casino because so many have heard about it, making it perfectly natural to do so. It's the go to site in many casino pits and break rooms. I would never mention the more specialized sites because, let's face it, we're not supposed to know about them unless we're "up to something".

When I stepped up to the craps table the pit noticed the shirt, and then asked if I was the Wizard. He seemed to be a fairly crafty sort, so I immediately suspected he KNEW I was not Mike. Then, I bet $82 across and that confirmed I was not the Wizard ;-) But I did go on to finish $1000 ahead for that session, so I must have been at least channeling the Wiz.
