Asking nicely, is there a way some of you can bring your innuendoes over somewhere else. I started to get into this and to tell the truth I seem to be on the receiving end of something I really have no part of.

2k up at Taj and $3,500 up at Caesar's, gave some back. Went over to roulette and put 10 quarters out and $500 on one column, black and odd. Column, even and black hits. + $250. Put another 10 out there and $500 on red. Red hits. I walk with the $500.

I really feel the numbers and so tempted to go get some green and just play quarters on 8 or 10 numbers a few times. One buddy is down and pissed and the other one is winning about 2k or so. I cant see sitting there and hammering it, unless it is the beginning and it just comes and flows. But that is me.

It is not good time to join the forum. That isn't to say one shouldn't join, but the environment has been tainted by some individuals who were banned and keep trying to come back and disrupt the board. It isn't a good thing, but it is a fact. Right now, each new member is viewed as a potential reincarnation of a banned member.
It doesn't help that it appears that you did not take the time to read the forum rules (and that they are not enforced):

The bottom line is that the forum has been disrupted and everyone is on the lookout for the disruptive forces to return. Sadly, this can cause us to be more harsh than we should be. We could well be seeing bogeymen where there are none. It happens. If everything is on the up and up, my apologies and I hope you'll see that it isn't always like this around here. If not, well, we all know what happens!!

I read. My answer. GOBBLEDYGOO. Someone mentioned comps. Hey, we enjoy eating out of the casinos as well. Long trip from the city and we, as a matter of habit, always stop and fuel up, eat, use the bathroom and take a break after getting off the parkway. Normally we stop at 123 plaza and that is it on the parkway. We do not play for comps and most of all we do hit and runs. We did stay over night which was not our plans but we were too drunk for the road.

the three of us took Caesar's for about 10k combined, we are happy, no one is going out of business. 2 out of the 3 of us have a few years experience here, sitting and playing and having all kinds of rules are fine for some but we don't subscribe to all that.
second part here, as far as the board goes and my take on it. funny, challenging, insulting (to the tune of most that insult really have no idea) but a good niche in social media that would be much better if the old timers would take a nap cause they sure are excessive on the armchair qb'ing.

we ate at Grottos the other night, good but you know I would take Angelo's Tavern above most all casino eating places. there are many great restaurants around here and not just one inside a casino to use comps at. usually when one starts doing that it just means he got sucked in and is paying hundreds of dollars for a sandwich or some half assed prepared food anyway. we came to have fun and we really had a blast and we won a sizable amount of $$$

I'm very familiar with the Cheesequake rest stop. When traveling with coffee drinking woman you eventually get to see all the nice stops. :-) Actually they're not bad for the amount of traffic they get. Fine for a quick break.

going to head over to the outlet shops and get a great NON COMP dinner at ruth's chris place. need to get over to the tommy h. store and the polo store. haven't figured the board out if it is a 100% place for grind'em down hardcore gamblers trying to make a living or a mixture with lots of regular normal people? whichever it is we are 3 guys from different walks of life and no of us are hardcore every week all week players. we probably make up the majority of players around atlantic city and Connecticut.

Was just down stairs a little while ago. Had one 500 chip didn't cash out last night (early AM). Laid it on red at roulette. Red hit. Went over to BJ. Wagered two hands at 500 each. Thinking to myself, if I can hit twice, will pay for the food, snacks and a little shopping spree over at the outlet shops. First hand, 2 face cards and the other, a face and a 3. Nope don't want to pull you do it pal. Dealer showing face. Flips and a 4 and draws a face. NICE. Press both hell with it, thinking it would probably be a 500 loss at most here. I want this 3,500 I can taste it and know in my heart it will happen. Dealer looks at me and says, have not seen you around. Tell him I have not seen him either. Laughs. Asks me if I am ready. I laugh some more. He rolls out and gives me a face and 8 on the first hand and a 9 and an 8 on the second. He has a face showing. Looks at me with his hand on the face card showing. Asks me, should I flip quick or slow. I look around, not extremely crowded yet and he gets off soon anyways. He is playing around. I tell him very slow. His best slow motion I would think and he puts his hips, back and shoulders into it. He flips it up a bit and cocks his head and sees it I think. He lets it fall the inch back and tells me it has a bunch of dots on it and asks me what he should do. I tell him to flip the SOB and don't let it be a 8, 9 or 10. He finally flips a 7. I took the 2,500 profit and cashed it out. I gotta go wake up the others late check out is past.

I've been making those jokes for a long time. It's an odd name no matter how many times you see it or say it. When we go through New Rochelle I still may whistle the theme song to the Dick Van Dyke show. Some of you may have to look that one up. Old habits are hard to break. :-)

I've watched some Archie Bunker on channel 21.1 (which airs all 70's-80's shows here in Vegas or at least on my TV), but who the hell is Kojak? (I can't be bothered looking it up...lol)

I've seen Telly Savalas (Kojak) in AC a few times. Once we watched a commercial being filmed for Player's Club. Telly was the pitchman. He pulled up in front of Resorts in a limo, jumped out and said "Who loves ya, baby." Technical problems, lighting, etc, caused that one bit to take the better part of a day before they were satisfied.

One things is obvious...the lion wants to roar whether is in violation of the rules or not.

Still in AC at Ruth's Chris now. Ordered the biggest blasted steak they had. Life is good in a city of blight by the ocean. Any suggestions from people as to a tip? LMAO looking back on the weekend. Parkway going to be a B***ch going north, maybe we will go play a few shoes. Food is coming, later.

How did you find last minute rooms to drunkenly crash in on a holiday weekend? I could see maybe Friday night being slightly open, but Saturday and Sunday should have been completely sold out...

We decided to do one last bet after dinner here and we have dubbed it the Evenbob memorial day wager. We are going to find the most obnoxious looking dealer on a roulette game bordering on being discourteous and place $1k on the even wager.

Stay Tuned and Thanks, until next week probably sometime MS or FW, we will make the decision on I95 at the Dunkin Donuts before the turn off to go north or further east to the FW exit. We are now sitting at the D.D. just west of the strip on the south end. Ready to hit the road. After everything said and done and a nice little shopping spree, + $8,240.00.
