Doubled and drew an Ace woohoo

Lost wah wah wah
Won a couple more hands then the shuffle came
Started out with the elevator guy walking by fist bumping me - which seemed to do the trick since I won a couple of doubles
Taking a break to get some caffeine
Trip is +1k

I'm trying to confirm with Mike and others if they are available Friday night. If so, I suggest starting @ 6pm, I don't care where, but I think Mike is a bit more picky, especially in terms of parking and crowds . It's nice to find a bar that has some fair VP pay tables to get started with drinks then figure out what next.
I Think Maxpen and a few others were planning on joining as well.

Session started out up and down for about 45 mins -- remained up 1k
Then I had the following split with 200 up:
3,3 v dealer 7
First 3 dealt an 8 -- doubled and drew a 6 for 17
Second 3 drew another 8 -- doubled and drew a 5
Dealer flipped over an Ace for 18
Just to clear my head I switched tables
The first three hands were all doubles
Hand 1:
8,3 v 6
I drew a 9....dealer had 5 under then drew a Q
Hand 2: 7,2 v 5
I was dealt a 4...dealer had a 7 under then drew a 5
Hand 3 (pressed to 200):
I was dealt 9,2 v King
I drew an 8...dealer flipped a Jack
Trip is -2300
Met Paradigm and his friend Mr. West Texas -- very nice gents who will not be in town long enough to join us for MonkeyFest 2015 but who were genuinely nice guys - I wish them success in their endeavors!!!
Pressed to 400
Split 8,8 v dealer 8
First 8 dealt 2 doubled drew a 4
Second 8 dealt 3 doubled drew a 5
Of course the dealer turned over a 10
I then lost the next 8 hands

Just curious, was this a double deck table? Were you playing heads up? The RC was +3 from that exchange, which is TC +1.5, and at the higher limit games you should have an advantage at TC +1 (regardless of DD or 6D), which means you might have ran from a positive expectation =/. You don't need to count, just noticing little cards in double deck games is often 'close' =P.

Did I miss something? How did "v dealer 3" and "dealer turns over a 10" become 16 instead of 13?
Perhaps the dealer drew a 6? Or a pair of 3s?

Similar to Coyote Ugly. Across from Downtown Grand. Loaded loud bartenders and a biker type crowd, though it gets all kinds in there. I am far from a biker and always seem welcomed. Its a good time for what it is.

It sure is great when we have winning streaks. I remember winning about $1,200 in 15 minutes from the Fiesta about 15 years ago. I just could do no wrong.
There are streaks where the dealer just busts 90% of the time. Jeez that's fun.
