My list of suspects would have the non-TSA baggage handlers at the top.

That would be my guess. It seems to be a rather common problem, with recent arrests/stings at JFK and Miami.

Here's an article about it:

From the Article:

The Miami-Dade Police Department set up the camera as part of an ongoing police investigation into luggage thefts by the very airport workers who are supposed to get bags safely onto planes.

"It's a problem we all face," said police Lt. Pete Estis. "We will continue to be proactive until we can see that the claims of pilfering through luggage will actually decrease."

- So that's why ACE should file a Police Report, imho. Don't let the Airport Police have an EXCUSE to sit back and do nothing.

Maybe you left them in the safe.

I've actually worried about leaving money in a room safe. How would that be when you're 200 miles into your drive home when you go oh sh^t!

I usually leave something on the hotel room floor at the door, something you couldn't overlook that would ask you, "Why is the ironing board leaning against the wall next to the door?" Oh, I remember...

I do something similar at home if I have something important to do the next day. I might put a can of Comet on the vanity right in front of the sink.

I wouldn't put it past people who make basically $12-$15 an hour. If the TSA was really about Airport security they would hire actual professionals instead of high school dropouts

Ace, at least YOU made it home safely.... Sorry the trip didn't have a happier ending, was one hell of a ride. There's always next trip. Also sorry for ribbing you about B79, was a lame joke.
Speaking of next trip, at least you don't have a wife that see's you're down 9K on your return, and has very little to say to you for a couple days. And then looks at your diary from the trip and notices you were down 23k at the lowest point and decides she needs to say ALOT. Been sleeping on the couch ;-)

I have platinum at MGM, not much to write about. Of course I live in Vegas so I don't use the free limo rides and whatnot. There is a small bump in cashback/comps, 30% increase over the standard card level.

I think it is entirely possible that the baggage thieves were divorcees in some weird Kharmic evening of the score? Somehow they can tell. Have you ever noticed the "look" when they know,,,you know that they know you know?

I have a female proctologist and I swear she is on some kind of power trip. And even though I was trying to hide it until after the procedure, she double dipped I am sure to prove her power, I must say it was humbling. I think she only got in the business to get even with men, but I am grateful she has small hands.

You are not going to get your cologne back anyway so when you file the police report, you may just as well report the theft was a gun. That would at least get them looking, and put a fire under tsa's asses.

That's a classic case of chasing.

There's no such thing as "getting it back"

Unless you're playing +EV (I have no clue if that's the case ) you may keep digging and digging. I suggest advancing to super speed count and grinding it back 1 trip at a time. Just imagine if you had an extra 1% of the total action you put in from day one.

I meant grind it back with a better method. You can't grind anything back if you have -EV. U can lucky it back but you could also dig deeper. Cant count on luck since you seem to be the unluckiest BJ player in the world. Running into a 16k to 1 and at least a 100k to 1 on Just this trip alone.

If your concerned at all with achieving the next tier with MGM you need to consider coming to Tunica. Granted there is nothing there to do except gamble, but that's what you go for right? At your level you would get picked up at the airport in Memphis, comped a suite, and wouldn't have to spend a dime on anything except playing. I play at a red chip level on a tiny bankroll and still get over 50,000 tier points for minimal play. They are very generous with comps. One weekend and you would be over 200,000 easy.
