Just wanted to share my thoughts after my first time playing PGP. I played at an Indian Casino that had a 15 dollar table on the main gaming floor and a 25 dollar table in the high stakes room. I first bought in for 100 at the 15 dollar table and after about 2 hours of play I quit with 150. On one of my first hands I got 4 natural Aces! After a break and a little 15 dollar blackjack (broke even), I went into the high stakes room and bought in for 250. After 3 hours of play I walked with 220 and a bunch of one dollar chips which I gave the dealer. I found the dealers to be very friendly and helpful when I had questions on how to set my hand. Due to the slow pace of the game the dealers were much more willing to have a conversation than blackjack dealers who seem uptight, so I enjoyed this. I tipped a red to Ellen at the 15 dollar table for her help, bet 5 whites for the dealer during my hour of blackjack, and probably tipped around 10 dollars during my 3 hours in the high stakes room. Overall I had a lot of fun on this trip, I really enjoyed this game as a change of pace from blackjack which I usually play. I never found myself up or down more than about 100 dollars, so it is a very good game to pass some time at. I do have one question, could someone tell me what I could expect in comps for this kind of play? (2 hours PGP@ avg of 20, 1 hour of blackjack at avg 25, 3 hours PGP @ avg 25) I normally play blackjack and can get nice dinners for 2 comped based on a few hours of low stakes play. I was by myself so I just asked for money for breakfast, and the supervisor gave me a 15 dollar discretionary meal comp. How is this comp based on my play?

Low stakes pai gow is VERY low on the comp list. You probably get around $1 an hour for $15 pai gow. Maybe $2 an hour for your $25 play.
