Is 17 the most popular single number to bet on in roulette? Certainly seems like that to me. Nearest competitors are probably the zeroes.

I'm not sure. I don't bet it on the off chance I play roulette. I'll have the same chances of getting the number I pick as i do of getting 17 or 0 or 00.

FWIW: Its part of my favorite 3-pair bet... 8-11, 17-20, and 26-29. 2 chips each 5 times.
