Another simple question whose answer I am sure is somewhere on here already. Have recently seen no commision Paigow at Eastside Cannery. What is the house edge on this game? According to the rules, a dealer's Q high Paigow results in a push. What if the dealer's Q high Paigow actually beats my hand? Is it still a push, or do I lose?
Also, in standard Paigow, what is the house edge? Assuming I am playing to protect my wager by playing for a tie on mediochre hands, mostly House-way I think.
And finally, if you discount the commission, what is the house edge?

In fact the Wizard recently published a review of EZ Pai Gow in the odds site.
The game, BTW, was invented by forum member Pai Gow Dan

It's still a push.
The edge is actually a tiny fraction smaller than regular Pai Gow Poker. But the house is OK with giving up that fraction, since the game moves faster, making more hands per hour - so they make more money in the long run.
I invented a few casino games. Info:
