Some are, some aren't.
But watch that video closely and you'll see at least two edits. You can't tell if he's always like that, or if it's occasional and they edited out the boring parts.
By the way, there were at least two phrases that were in that video twice. So a lot of it is just the same ol' routine.

I remember something about this being filmed in a Philippine casino. I didn't think it particularly entertaining, but it was unusual. I didn't like that No Cheating Before Five O'Clock once much less twice.

As an ex-dice dealer from Vegas. I have nothing good to say about him.
Would never be a good stickman in Vegas or for that matter anywhere.
New Craps Dealers, this video is how NOT to be a stickman. Sure his words are fun to listen to but his procedures are horrible and should piss off any boxman that would care about their table.
One the first come out roll he uses a Roulette Dealers line, "Place your bets", yuck and does nothing to advertise the prop bets like bet the 7, 11 craps checks etc.
That is what box wants to hear!
He is not ready with his stick to reach out and call the dice and bring them in using the stick. How many times does he pick up the dice with his hands? Too many. That is real bad. And he does not switch between both hands using the stick.
Again, he uses a "No cheating before 5" line on a come out roll, not advertising the fact or even again to bet the prop bets. He says "How about a little insurance?"
WTF! Advertise we have the same shooter coming out and it is a good time to bet the 7 and 11, horn, craps checks!
His stick calls are not even proper calls. The first roll is a 9, the call should be "Nine, centerfield Nine, mark the point 9", then he can add his funny lines following.
Another come out roll "6 now, put him on 6 now"...horrible stick call.
And on a point of 6 he pushes the Big 8, ok but does nothing about selling the hardways!
This drove my crazy and would frustrate a boxman to a boiling point!
Another call" And that is 9. Pay the place bet, on and off" WTF!!!
Proper call would be "9 centerfield nine, off and on for the come bet 9, pay the place bet."
It is "Off and On" NOT "on and off", because the bet would come off and then come back on.
He is sloppy, his procedures and stick calls are extremely poor and should have been sent back to Dealers school.
Yeah, Im old and grumpy today.
7 winner chicken dinner!

lol- that was a good rip-- I did not say he was being accurate or correct in proceedure, just very talkative... I was watching video from another crapps table and it was ghostly silent

Maybe its a matter of his particular style or maybe that is simply the way they do things at any Philippine casino? I don't know. It would soon annoy be to be at his table. And while I don't like stickmen promoting the sucker bets ALL the time, I do realize that is part of their job. A stick stick who actually utters the phrase Sucker Bets is fun sometimes. A little joking around can be great even if I've not had the morning coffee yet but I'd sure hate to be at his table before I had slurped myself awake.

Some of the links on the right sides of that page and attached pages are a combination of curious and humorous videos I hadn't seen before. Thanks.

Let's not accuse him of not trying to be helpful. It's a bit of a pain and it's nice if someone does it.
to do it yourself, look for the link below the text area when replying, it says "click here for formatting codes"

Well, it sounded more snotty than accusatory, which is why I hadn't responded till now.Quote: thlfI didn't mean to sound accusatory. I really wondered how. Thanks for your help.
Yeah, click on the link below the typing window "Click here for formatting codes".
Most other forums automatically take what looks like a web address, and make it clickable. This one doesn't.
The solution is to wrap link tags around it, like this: [link=http://www.whatever.com]click here[/link]
