I try to make a distinction between whether my strategy is causing undo losses, or if the luck is just undue. I might have a few different strategies to try, but I would pick one to start and I could change my mind after a shoe to see how another one works.

The difference is if your strategies utilize different money management systems. E.g.:
Strategy 1: Bet every hand, increase one unit per loss.
Strategy 2: Only bet once every three or four hands, flat betting.

Some players prefer consistently betting on the Banker hand because it has a slightly lower house edge than the Player hand. However, casinos usually charge a commission on Banker wins.
