235 Stud Poker

What is the consensus or feeling about 235 Stud Poker at the Venetian? I saw it but didn’t want to risk my money on a game I didn’t fully understand yet.

Here is a brief description of what Scientific Gaming is marketing. I briefly saw a Twitter posting claiming the Venetian won’t willingly make the pay table public, so that is a very bad sign. As I recall, the posting said you have to pony up 3 $10 wagers to play. Smells bad.

I will try to pay a visit to report on the full rules.

I think Gaming has forgotten to update their list of Field Trial Games.

I will be going back to V/P in a few months, and am willing to give the game a try. Kinda hard though when they don't put much out there like a demo video before someone goes. The idea of learning the game on the spot is a bit much if you had to ask me. UTH and LiR it is until then.

I seem to remember a game similar to this called "Triple Shot" or something similar, where the first card was casino war, then using that first card a hand of blackjack was played, then after that, any cards needed to get to seven cards would create a poker hand (using the best 5). The triple bet wasnt bad since you actually played three seperate games and the pace at a full table was slow. Dont understand why casinos dont put minimums of $5 on field trial games to generate interest

Did anyone ever learn the payout tables for 235 Stud Poker?

Does anyone know if 235 Stud Poker has a table anywhere? Or is on-line?

Apparently Venetian took the game off the floor, kinda funny since they really didn’t want many people to look at it.

I was in Vegas last week and saw it at the Plaza. I was there earlier in the day so I never saw it open.
