On a recent gambling trip I was playing 3 card and the dealer hit the AKQ of spades. The few of us at the table were excited because we thought we were getting the $100 envy. The dealer called the supervisor over to ask, but of course we were not paid. Has anybody else seen the dealer hit the progressive on three card? If so,what happened?
Thanks, Hope

I haven't seen that, but I'm quite sure it was handled correctly. Envy bonuses apply to other player hands only.

I only know of one game which pays the players an envy if the dealer gets a premium hand. Double Dragon Pai Gow

I never play those side bets, but here's a question:
Does the envy bonus pay if a person that isn't playing the side bet gets the jackpot hand?
If so, then it should have paid when the dealer got the hand.

Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁
