On the same machine that has the Lucky Charlie side bet I wrote about earlier today, there is a baccarat side bet called the Lucky 99. It pays based on which sides get a natural 9. For the full rules and analysis, please click the link I just left.
The question for the poll is would you bet the Lucky 99 if playing baccarat anyway?

I’m not a baccarat player, but based on the edge alone, I’ll pass.
But one question: since the player and banker have equal odds of getting the natural 9, any idea why the hugely different payouts?
On a side note, thanks for reminding me. I’ll send you my SuperBowl Big Game picks in a PM soon. 🤪

I'd play it, but only if they offered a better paytable. One of the bets on Infinate Fortune Baccarat offers 45:1 for a Natural 9 vs Natural 8. If the top payout on this was 35:1, I'd play. That would put the house edge around 8%.
Casinos are not your friends, they want your money. But so does Disneyland.
And there is no chance in hell that you will go to Disneyland and come back with more money than you went with.
