This is a 31 type of game where the players get seven cards to make a three card suited hand.

A favorite of some users here, Asia Poker is essentially advanced Pai Gow Poker.

Crapless Craps
The Strat ... min=$10
This is a well know placement but it's still the only one in town. WOO lists the game as a side bet but there's arguably enough change to the core game to consider it a separate entity.
Criss Cross Poker
Linq ... min=$5
You might call this hard to find game a Vegas cult classic.
DJ Wild
Harrah's ... min=$5
This recently discussed game is no longer listed at New York New York.
Deuces Wild
Sam's Town ... min=$5
The D ... min=$5
This game seems to have found long-term happy homes at two locations.
Heart Attack
Palms ... min=$5
There was a lengthy thread here discussing this unusual game. Of all the games on this list, this is the one I'd most like check out. If any of you Vegas locals are near the Palms, could you please confirm this placement? Is there one or two side bets? What are the pay tables? A picture would be wonderful.
Jack Pot Hold'em
Sahara ... min=$5
It looks like this UTH type game (with a flop card peek) survived it's field trial and received (as far as these things go) a permanent placement.
Le Pair'e
El Cortez ... min=$5
This odd card/roulette game also seems to have fared well in its field trial to become a permanent fixture.
Pai Gow Tiles
Bellagio ... min$25
Harrah's ... min=$25
I assume you can still find this classic at the Venetian but, oddly, the survey didn't cover that resort.
Sigma Derby
The D ... min=$0.25
Not listed in the survey nor, I suppose, a table game, this rare classic should at least be experienced once before it's gone forever.
Texas Hold'em Bonus
Bally's ... min=$5
California ... min=$5
Flamingo ... min=$5
Fremont ... min=$5
Linq min=$5
Not as rare as others here but this UTH type game is still hard to find.
Three Card Prime
The Strat ... min=$5
This Three Card Poker derivative is found at only one Vegas location.
Twisted 21
Rio ... min=$10
Causing a bit of a stir here, this blackjack/poker fusion seems to be staying put (for now).
Vega$ 3 Poker
Harrah's min...$5
Another recent game that seems to be staying put after its field trial. [note: this game is absent from the game indexes at WOO]
Wild Five Poker
Aliante ... min=$3
Cannery ... min=$3
Sam's Town ... min=$5
Suncoast ... min=$5
This older (Poker with a Joker) game seems to actually be picking up new placements.
Although not listed in the survey, Prosperity 3 Pictures is mentioned elsewhere as still being at the Venetian (passed its trial).
The survey mentions that the popularity of Casino War is waning, down from twelve placements last year to eight this year.

Venetian claims to only have Tiles on special occasions, or, presumably if a whale requests it.
Surprised that Tiles is also not listed under Paris or Caesar's, since both had the game when I last visited in October. Wynn also had Tiles, but they're not in that report either.
So, either that report is rife with inaccuracies, or Tiles is quickly on it's way out... :-/

Akwesasne Mohawk Casino in Hogansburg NY still has it, and it is still popular. And I have no idea why.

It's popular because almost everyone knows how to play poker, but most people don't want to play it for "real" in a casino. Caribbean Stud scratches that itch.

Borgata in AC has one Caribbean table. It was packed all three days we were there. I guess if you like Caribbean, you like Caribbean.

Criss Cross is taking off in Pennsylvania and in AC. Borgata went from two tables to six. It is at Wind River, was just added at Mohegan Pocono, it is at Rivers in Pittsburgh, and I think it is at Mount Airy (edit, just checked, it is). (With an easy strategy and lots of opportunities to make hands and suck out hands, at a $5 bet this game is a stone cold blast. Think of it as Mississippi on steroids. The only thing you gotta watch is bring a big enough bankroll. You cant expect to play very long with a couple hundred buy in.)

I can understand why a player would want to try it, but I don’t understand why a player would continue to play it. It isn’t any fun to turn over a full house and have the dealer not qualify. Do that once and you won’t play again.

Exactly why I stopped playing it almost 20 years ago. For me, a fatal flaw.
PaiGow-Plus at The D should be noted as a rare game. I think it's the only PaiGow Mania-type game left in the US. Not sure with the name change, though, that the rules are the same. The outstanding part of it is that it opens dealing 3, and a 3CP sidebet played, then you get your other 4 cards.
Its flaw as PaiGow Mania was the paytable for the Fortune-like sidebet, where the top hand is/was 5 Aces. As rare as it is, the hand still was happening too often for the casinos' liking, and it got pulled nearly everywhere.
Next time someone is in TheD, I'd appreciate a look at this table to see if the 3Card is still on it, and what the - Plus is. TIA.
I like it more recently
