The analysis was pretty easy. Please visit my new page on Golden Frog Baccarat for all the rules and analysis.
The question for the poll is would you play any of the Golden Frog bets if playing baccarat anyway? Multiple votes allowed.
Quote: WizardI noticed a billboard for the Palms stating they had new high-paying baccarat side bets. So I went in to have a look last Thursday.

I think you have some typos. In one spot it says 7 beats 6 but in another it says 8 beats 7, or 8 beats 6, or whatever....

Thank you. I just fixed it.
Do these events happen often enough that bac players notice them and would be attracted to betting on them? The odds suggest not.
Then again, plenty of people playing EZ Pai Gow will bet the side bet that the dealer will get that queen high hand, not because it happens often (which it doesn’t), but because of its special significance.
Unless I missed something, the frog bets hold no such significance.
I don’t play bac, but if I did, I wouldn’t bother with this bet. Then again, I tend to avoid all side/sucker bets.
Do frogs, or golden frogs, have any significance in Asian culture?

Nobody was playing at the table I took notes from. I don't play baccarat so I don't have a feel for how much players like the bets.
I probably should have added they also have the Dragon 7 and Panda 8 bets, but gave them different names. So that would make six side bets on the game and that isn't counting the pairs or tie.

I think frogs are considered lucky, especially when a coin is put in their mouth. I would defer to any Asian members of the forum on that one.
Quote: UCivanAre these side bets added to the Bad Beat Baccarat? How do they fit in the bad Beat layout / display?
No, they didn't have Bad Beat side bets at the table.

Surprised there’s no blackjack side bets like this.
I.e. betting on your 20 loses to a dealer 21.
People seem to enjoy side bets that turn a games most frustrating hand results into a winner.
Players who like Tie bet, also like Tie MaxQuote: MDawgThe only side bet I indulge in occasionally at Baccarat is the tie bet. I know it has a high house advantage but for whatever reason I have done very well at it over time.

May I know what is the min and max bet size for each sidebet ?
