1. What term do you use for single-zero roulette where even money bets LOSE ALL if the ball lands in zero?
2. What term do you use for single-zero roulette where even money bets LOSE HALF if the ball lands in zero?
3. In Atlantic City, do even money bets still lose only half when the ball lands in either zero? That was how they did it when I was last there, 18 years ago.
4. What do other casinos in the north-east on even money bets if the ball lands in zero.
Thanks in advance for your help.

In Bally's Atlantic City, when they give me a $25 "direct bet," I put it on Red on the double zero roulette table. On the times that 0 or 00 have come up, I have always been paid $12.50.
Recently in Bally's, I put the coupon on Red, but the dealer warned me pointing out that I was at the single zero table and that I would win nothing if 0 came up. So, I moved to the double zero table.
This implies that even money bets still lose only half when the ball lands in either zero on double zero tables in Atlantic City.

3. I can speak only for the Borgata rules . At the American wheel you do get half your money back on an even money bet if it lands in zero. At the European wheel you do not get the half back
4. At Sands in PA you don’t get half your money back on any even money bets at any wheel.
Of course in LV the wheels can spin in either direction and the tables can be a right or left handed tables.
For many years if the player wanted a single zero game, some casinos would merely put an additional felt over the zero double zero part of the table that would show just the single zero. If the double zero was spun, then it was simple declared a "no spin" and the ball would be spun again. Blocking the zero required a higher table min. As an example the table minimums to block the 00 were usually set at $100 for the Trump Plaza casino.
