Imagine a casino where the employees bend the rules so that you win more often... that way generating more tips

Welcome to the Mark Twain Casino in Missouri (although you have missed the boat on this one as its now been discovered... riverboat that is haha)

https://www.whig.com/20181031/mark-twain-casino-faces-50000-fine-for-multiple-cheating-incidents#

Some of the incidents:

Losing your point rolling a seven but the staff calls a no roll and hands you back the dice

Leaving losing bets up for the next roll

Allowing you to add to your bet AFTER the ball has landed on the number

Many employees knew about it

Surveillance observed nothing for over a year

$50,000 losses in just the one month that the gaming commission observed

Note: this was not collusion. They were doing it indiscriminately to all patrons. Even making recommendations to the patrons how to change their bets into winning results...

It generated a lot of tips

No really seriously. They did it for tips

No patrons have been charged

Would have been nice to share this a few months ago.

This happens at every casino where dealers keep their own and many where tips are shared. In a Country where about 30% of the adult population has a criminal record, you can imagine there is cheating and theft in every position.

Due to credit and background checks the percentage in casinos will be a good amount less, but I always estimate 2-3% of dealers are stealing or cheating in favor of players.
