The First BADUGI-Poker against the Casino (Casino Holdem® 4-Suits Poker™ 賭場四花撲克). Invented by Stephen Au-Yeung ©2007.
* Math by Michael Shackleford (Wizard of Odds).
Rules
1. A single 52-card deck is used. All cards are ranked as in poker.
2. The order of hands is shown in table 1. If both player and dealer have the same ranking hand then the individual cards will be used to determine the higher hand. If a suit is only represented by one card, then obviously that one is played. If a suit is represented by two or more cards then only one suit, resulting in the highest ranking hand, may be played. Other cards of that suit are ignored.
3. Play begins with the player making an ante wager, plus optional side bet.
4. Each player will receive three cards face down, plus one player’s community card (for use by players only), also dealt face down. The dealer will receive four cards, three cards face down, and one card face up. The player may look at his own three cards but may not exchange information with other players.
5. The player has the choice to fold or make a Call bet. The Call bet must be two times the ante bet. If the player folds he will lose his ante bet and his cards will be collected.
6. The dealer will turn over the player’s community card and his own three cards dealt face down.
7. The dealer needs three suits or higher to qualify. For example, 5♥, 4♣, 3♦, 2♥ would be the lowest possible qualifying hand.
8. If the dealer does not qualify, then the ante bet will pay according to the pay table in table 2, and the Call will push.
9. If the dealer qualifies and the player beats the dealer then the ante bet will pay according to the pay table in table 2, and the Call will pay 1 to 1.
10. If the dealer qualifies and the dealer beats the player then the ante and Call bets will lose.
11. If the dealer qualifies and the player and dealer tie then the ante and Call will push.
12. The side bet will pay according only to the player’s hand. Three possible pay tables for the side bet are shown in table 3.
All feedback (Good or Bad) are welcome.
The Question is:
1. what is the element of risk?
(House edge 2.744%. This is the ratio of the expected player loss to initial bet. On average, the player will raise 74.303% of the time, for an average final wager of 2.486 units. The element of risk, or the ratio of player loss to the total amount bet, is?)
2. Which Side-bet Pay-table you like from Table-3?
3. Which Name do you like for this game? or (suggest a name for this game).
P.S. Answers (Next week).

The element of risk, or the ratio of player loss to the total amount bet, is thus 2.744%/2.486 = 1.104%.

Unfortunately this game really should have been released about 7 to 8 years ago when Badugi was a more relevant poker game. I would be impressed if it could find a home now. I played thousands of hands of Badugi for real money before Black Friday hit.

Hi tringlomane,
Thanks for your feedback.
I agree with you this game should have been released about 7 to 8 years ago (when it was first Invented in 2007).
As there is now too many Poker games in the casinos now.
I think I will have to give this game a new name (Not include the words Poker/Hold'em or Badugi).
I like the Name (Anti High Card Flush).
