Hi DRich,
Yes, there are something missing in the Open 21® game, and that is (Where does the house get the edge?).
I am sorry to say, I have to keep this to myself and people that I have shown the game to.
If the game gets anywhere, I will explain it in greater detail on this post.

Not a judgement or anything. Just genuine curiosity, as well as a little inside info as I try to get my own game out there...

Hi DJTeddyBear,
As I am based in the UK, I have been too busy getting my New Table Games into the EMEA region, were My DISTRIBUTORS: TCS-JohnHuxley, Evolution Gaming, Playtech, Microgaming, NetEnt, (GTECT-G2 now IGT), RTG, Abbiati, PlayNGo are the strongest.
I did try to get DISTRIBUTOR(s) to do my Casino Hold'em® (The First and Patented Texas Hold'em against the Casino/Dealer ©2000) for me in the USA in the pass (year 2003), that is when I exposed Casino Hold'em® to the USA market and instead of getting DISTRIBUTOR(s) I get competitors.
Today Casino Hold'em® is the Number-1 Casino-Poker game Online, with 95% Online Casinos using the game.
As I am just a single man and can’t be at 2 place at the same time, so that is why my games are not in the USA.

I think on the face of it, this is an irresponsible allegation to make on this board without some proof and I ask that you stop this line of accusation, if that's what it is.
If you mean it in admiration, I suggest you say so now, because there is some doubt about that in how you've written your past couple of posts. Thanks.

Although Casino Over Under didn't make the final cut it was still an event well worth attending as it led to a new field trial and the feedback was priceless. We got to see feedback from the players that played, management and the dealers. Overall Casino Over Under was rated as a 7.8 out of 10 and received a perfect score on simplicity. I highly recommend that event to anyone with a new game and you are looking to take it overseas.

Hello Stephen - can I just check the rules as I'd like to work out the play strategy and approx HE, especially if it's going to appear soon!
(a) Player getting 21 (even if the dealer gets or has 21) wins (BJ=6/4, 3+cards=1/1).
(b) Player cannot split, double or surrender, merely hit or stand.
(c) Dealer stands on soft 17, so the strategy on all dealer 17-21 is if you're losing keep hitting - I'm guessing you hit soft 18 vs Dealer's 18 and all soft 17s, otherwise settle for a push.
(d) There is no mandatory side-bet - just a single Blackjack bet.
(I use infinite decks for an approximation and could, in theory, then run simulations with finite decks.)
Cheers

I am not keeping the rules hidden to my buyers, I am just keeping it hidden for the public as long as possible.
I have already a buyer, and if the game goes well, then I will expose it to the world.

So without knowing the special rule or gimmick, what would the house edge be with the rules we do know?
It would be a futile number. It's similar to asking the HE of Spanish 21 would be without taking into account the Spanish Deck or Freebet without knowing about the 22 Rule. For instance in Freebet you hit more often than in standard Blackjack so using standard BJ strategy would give the wrong answer.Quote: Hunterhill...So without knowing the special rule or gimmick, what would the house edge be with the rules we do know?...

Hi RoyalBJ,
If a game can hold 20+% and Player like it, then it does not matter about the house edge.
With a HE 1.04% it would be harder to hold 20+%.
Me (Inventor of Casino Hold'em®) and my two best old friends (30+ Years) Derek Webb (The inventor of Three Card Poker) and Geoff Hall (The inventor of Free Bet Blackjack) on my New Table Game (Open 21®) at ICE-2017.
It seems this game is going to be trialled in Southampton starting in a few weeks' time. From what I can gather it plays similar to Three Card Poker except the rank of hands are determined by adding up the points a la Blackjack (Aces=11) and possibly multiplying by a factor - two with a pair and three with trips. The dealer qualifies with 20 and there are bonuses for scores of 61 or more.Quote: MrCasinoGames....Scientific Games....(High Point 99)....
I've had a quick look at the maths and you probably fold totals of 20 or less, which would be annoying with three 2s! However there is a 3CP side-bet (1 4 6 30 40) and also one for the total you get (e.g. pays 250/1 for 99=three Aces).
Personally I think the House Edge is set slightly high, and the bonus should come in for totals of 60 or higher. Also I can see people playing the sidebets, especially the 3CP one, for more than the base game.
Standard Blackjack rules unchanged other than as set out below:
1. Dealer’s initial two cards are dealt Face-up.
2. Player’s Blackjack beats Dealer's Blackjack, Pays 3 to 2.
3. Player’s 21 point beats Dealer's Blackjack or 21 point, Pays 1 to 1.
4. If Player's hand ties with the Dealer's hand, the bet will Push.
