is variance built in for practice ?

Do You guys think/know IF variance is built into online practice software ?
In Other words IF I play craps or black jack or ultimate texas hold em and it sees that
I am ahead after 1000 events will it then give me a bunch of garbage as to depicted expected house edge ?
I ask this question because I played 3000 events on one platform/computer did well up to 1k hands and then
the roof kind of fell in.
However when I played 1000 events on three different computers
it looked something like this
comp 1.......1000 events plus xt 2000 events minus 900
comp 2.....1000 events plus 400
comp 3 ....1000 events plus 700
comp 4.....1000 events plus 800

Online casino or practice/test software? If the software isn't bugged (i.e.: gaffed), then there would be no need to code in some "self aware" variance/house-edge stuff....since, that's part of the game.

I've seen an online casino roulette game where the first few practice games were very clearly rigged to let me win, but not of course with real money. So there may still be some about which try to make you feel that winning is more likely than it is. I've also read allegations here that a certain online casino gears up the house win rate as the player gears up his stake ( that would be cheating if proved, but hard to prove)
But mostly the practice games are representative of a real game. Such variance as you have encountered is perfectly normal and within the bounds of probability.

in any case 1000 is not enough trials to judge by unless it is painfully obvious
