I'm interested in forum members' likes and dislikes of Craps and Roulette. From a player's, dealer's and Casino Management's view. Thank you in advance.

As a player, craps used to be my favorite game at the casino. I always like the fairly low house edge on the line bets with single odds. Plus, I liked that you could throw the dice. It is a fun and social game. I guess the only negative I can say about it now is that it is getting more expensive to play in Vegas. I've always been a low roller. It seems like it used to be fairly easy to get $5 games as long as you weren't on a weekend night or a high end casino. Now, even the mid tier casinos seem to always have at least $10 tables. That starts to get a little bit expensive for me.
As for Roulette, I never liked to play that game. The house edge is just too high on it. It is over 5% on every bet. It just chews up your bankroll too quickly IMO. The only reason that I ever play it is that my girlfriend loves that game. So, once in a while, I'll play with her.

Thanks for your thoughts Wulfgar, I know what you mean about table minimums going up and reduced max odds...

He said single odds so I assumed he was playing somewhere in which that was the max odds one could take. I recommend taking max odds.. Everywhere is reducing the max odds one could take. Use to be 100 times then 20 times then 10 times then 3, 4, 5 times, til 2 times and some places single times odds.

It might be time to start looking off the Strip. There is a quite big city out there.Quote: Wulfgar1224Now, even the mid tier casinos seem to always have at least $10 tables. That starts to get a little bit expensive for me.
