Couple UTH in Vegas Questions?

1st question - Are there any trip bet pay tables at 479 or 568 anymore? If so what casinos are running those payout tables? I love betting trips because i just find it to be fun! However, I also understand that unless they are paying out at either of those two pay tables I just mentioned they're best to be ignored because those are the only two tables under a 2% house edge.

2nd question - Using the payout tables from Wizard i'm assuming that the return he illustrates is based on getting paid out even if one folds? I've heard that there are tables that make you play in order to get your trips bet? If that is the case how does that effect the edge? Anyone ever calculate that?

MGM Detroit has the 9/7/4, 0.9% HE Trips bet. Motorcity has the 8/6/5.

I just noticed that, so I'm sorry. I don't think you'll find and 9/7/4's there. Maybe the latter though.

No 865 in Vegas anymore. At least not on the Strip. You might find it at Jerry's Nugget.

Doesn't have to be on the strip. I actually liked green valley and red rock quite a bit when I went last. I'll have a rental car so I can go off strip.

I don't have a mathematical answer to your second question, but it has to raise the HE considerably on both the main bet and, by association, the Trips bet. I do know that Bally/SHFL license the game as, the Trips bet pays whether you stay or fold, and they have followed up before with casinos that are/were forcing their patrons to stay in for that bet. So if you run into a casino where that's happening, it would probably be worth dropping a PM to Pacman with the casino's name so he can check for it.

Motorcity still forces a play bet to be paid on the trips bet.

I saw upthread that there was no 865 on the Strip anymore...I was at SLS in March and they had it there...has it changed?

Was just at Wynn/Encore a few weeks back- they were running 8/6/5. Venetian/Aria etc running 8/7/4.

Didn't help me any; I always seem to get demolished there. Must be all the G &Ts. :)

All Station Casinos still use the 8/6/5 table. On the Strip, it's pretty much extinct as you said. PH was the last 9/7/4 holdout and they went to the 8/7/4 some time ago
