* Cards thrown and landed smack in the discard bucket;
* Cards slammed into the discard bucket;
* 1 card ate by a player;
* Shoe picked up and thrown against the wall;
* Cards punctured by an ink pen so hard, the pen was sticking out of the felt;
* Chair slid back so hard the glass mirrored wall directly behind the end of the baccarat table shattered and fell onto the floor;
* Fist fight amongst 2 of the players;
* Large drink knocked over next to the chip rack (Big table) and almost all the chips having to be removed and replaced;
* Shoe with the cut card being placed at the very end;
* A couple 'right side up' cards coming out of the shoe;
* Cards thrown so far off the baccarat table, not even funny;
* Someone's wife coming into the High Limit room and catching her dear husband with his mistress at the table (not very pretty site!);
* Having Larry Holmes (Easton assassin) sit down next to us at try playing baccarat, he used to play all the time blackjack at 'Bally's Grand' in AC and one night he comes over and asked us to show him the game. Comical, he was yelling 'hit me' hit me' loud when he wanted another card and saying, 'I can take it-hit me'. He used to do the same at his reserved BJ table right there.
* Andrew Dice Clay playing at same table, 2013 @ The Bellagio and also at the Riviera, he had a show at the Riviera at the time. This is when The Riviera had the red roped off section of about 6 or so baccarat tables right in front of the main cashier cage. I believe now it's gone.

This isn't the first time I've heard about people eating cards-- what's the idea?

Is the card so bad that you want to destroy it entirely? Was it good so you want to keep the luck with you? Was the cafe out of bran muffins?

A friend's daughter likes to eat cards.

Then again, she's 2 years old.

Lost a few decks and tuck boxes to that one.
May the cards fall in your favor.

Dead hand. As long as the camera did not see it-from my understanding. In this case, Atlantic City. Big Table. Everyone was on the Banker and huge money, I don't think anyone was under Orange Chips. The player handling the cards was a new player there and I knew him from another casino. Player's cards exposed and Banker would have lost with no draw as I remember. I believe it was a 7-6 scenario, regardless we all would have lost. He crumpled the card up real good and shoved it in his mouth. Swallowed it. Pit boss came running over and told the other floor to call the camera. They did and the pit boss called it was a dead hand. The same as slamming the cards into the bucket. The guy was told to leave and not return.

I wonder what the EV is on making like a $50k bet, and hiring some randoms to come in and take the hit every now and then like that...
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

Slick. Never thought of that. In this case I knew most if not all the people at the table back then. But in all reality it would probably work once or twice. Of course your not going over $25k (some places) in Vegas and about $10k back east unless maybe at Tropicana?? Meaning you have to have a lot of F.M. up or a huge credit line and be a known player. So a one shot deal for that amount won't work, but lesser amounts might.
