We are going to Vegas for Asian New Year's Feb 18th to 23rd. Staying at C.P. We normally play CP-Bellagio-Mirage-PH-MGM and a few others around Mid Strip. Sometimes we venture out to Red Rock or downtown to the GN. A friend of my wife's recommended going over to the Gold Coast as they used to have some baccarat action there as well as a pretty good late night Asian restaurant (she hasn't been there since last summer thou). We already booked a reserved baccarat table at Orleans on Sat night and dinner at their steakhouse. We were thinking if there is action at Gold Coast we would venture over there around midnight. Can anyone offer a run-down of the Bac action and the Asian eats over there?? If it can't be recommended we would choose another off strip property we never played at for the change up of atmosphere. We prefer to play Midi and not EZ or Mini. Thanks for any help.

Great Asian food. Probably more baccarat tables open and in action at any time than in any casino in the United States. Lots of smoke. Ping Pang Pong is the full service Chinese restaurant, Noodle Exchange is the fast service restaurant, which has EXCELLENT hot pots.

Had no idea they were that strong in action there. Guess no one from the mid strip high limit rooms knows about them. We normally go over to Little Saigon restaurant (open 24 hours) on Spring Mountain Road just west of the 15 for late night Asian (Pho). Sounds like we should go to Gold Coast after the Orleans.
