Doesn't that mean that there's a progressive side bet? As in, you know, a jackpot for a foolish sidebet for something ridiculous that will happen once in a month that pays back 25% of the money put in?
Its - Possessive; It's - "It is" / "It has"; There - Location; Their - Possessive; They're - "They are"

"Progressive" implies a side bet and it simply means that out of each dollar bet, a few cents goes towards the top prize. When that top prize is hit, the progressive restarts at some medium level number - a number that is still a nice little payday if its hit.

That doesn't mean it's a good bet, just a nice payout if you're lucky to hit it.

I'm not sure what "i-" means, except ShuffleMaster has a few products like "i-Deal", "i-Shuffle" and "i-Shoe".

They pay way more than 25%. Oh, sure, the big jackpot, the one that 'progresses' might be 25% or less of the coin in, but add all the other little payoffs, and it's more like 75%-85% returned. Yeah, that's still a high house advantage, but nowhere near as bad as you're suggesting. Even state lotteries are better than what you're suggesting.

I played Three Card Poker Progressive at Excalibur. In addition to the Pair+ bet, there was a progressive bet. As I understand it was fixed at $1, and you put your white chip on a lighted circle. An electronic sign on the table displayed the jackpot you could win with a miniroyal. You'd also get lesser prizes, stated in dollar amounts, for other high hnads (I forget the details). I dind't play that particular bet.
