Congrats Babs!

I don't like that they listed that high HE instead of the EOR. What is the EOR with these sets of rules?

It's 2.00% as you're raising/switching a lot.

Not sure how they got perfect strategy to be 3.6% though. But it's nice that they do try to list that info in the UK.

And congrats Babs!

Thanks Tring!

I looked under Alpha listing for WoO as I recalled that Wiz did the page, but OFTM is not listed under "O". Obviously the page is there so not sure why it didn't come up.

Would be much nicer if UK listed that as opposed to the 3.6% HE. The 2% is more indicative of the true player experience.

Best of luck with your game.

It seems search engines may find it as "1 for the money" or "One For The Money" or "oneforthemoney", but it will be found.

It also seems that House Edge may not be the optimal metric, but I'm sure its good enough. After all, most casino executives know that neither their dealers nor their players may of optimal sobriety at all times, but the casino still stays open even though things are not optimal.

Stephen, and all;

I knew they had signed a contract in the UK in late February, pretty sure from the ICE show; I did not know where (Aspers is a great placement!) or when the game would start. The HE of the single-deck game is 2.925; the 6 to 8 deck is as shown, and the average bet is just under 2.0 units, so the EOR is roughly half of each of those. Bally/nee SHFL is marketing the 6 to 8 deck version for now, with that sidebet and that HE.

Aspers is a regional-casino (large by London standards; see the Wiz's UK blog for more on that) on top of a megamall in NE London, very pretty. Has both a British Rail terminus and a Tube station, so easily reached.

The WoO page on One for the Money is there, but is not in the index; the Wiz has the errata note for 6.0 and it's on the list of things that need to be fixed. You can link to the page Here if you want to see his writeup.

Thanks very much for all the kind words and well wishes, guys!

I hope so, too! The next opening is near you, though, at the Harrington Racino in Delaware, this month. Perhaps that's in your area of consideration for play?

That's certainly close enough for me to head down and try it, do you know the approximate date it will open there ?

The only info I have, which is 2 weeks old, is "April". It's up to the casino, based on their scheduling and dealer/surveillance training, when the game goes live. If I get an update I will post it here. I very much appreciate your interest!

Babs darling, glad things are going good for you. If the alimony check is a little short this month, just remember I still love you .

Lol, Buzz, we've missed you these past few days. The check can wait a bit.

Well, in a bizarre coincidence, I just this minute heard Harrington opened today. Yay! So, michael90000, be my guest and go over there. Would love to hear about it.

Awesome! I will get down there sometime within the next month to play it, and post the trip report here.

ONE FOR THE MONEY not on website yet. But under rules : BJ dealer stands on soft 17 and a single zero roulette wheel is available.
So far not your typical racino !
