Since Jan 9th when sports books became legal in New York I have tried all apps available. All have their pluses & minuses & a couple are giving out free bets. But there's a BIG PLUS for DraftKings. Whenever I withdraw winnings, I have them in my bank account within 5 to 6 minutes! All the others are taking 2 to 4 days. Hopefully the others will catch on soon.

I don't need $$ in a hurry but it's nice to withdraw it, see it in my bank account and move on!!

What's been you experience? Thank you.

They are great. I had a bad experience with them at first (got off on the wrong foot), but they corrected it with some (okay, a lot of) prompting and actually made me whole plus better.

I am VIP with them now and it seems like they are giving the store away. Promotions and bonuses flowing like water. I love them at the moment. And yes, they pay out super quickly. Like unbelievably fast. Hope it lasts.

DraftKings is getting a mention in some ads now airing in California, but not exactly in a good way.
There is an ad sponsored by a couple of the California tribes calling on voters to stop "outside interests" from getting involved in online sports betting; DraftKings is one of the brands that appears.
This has something to do with the competing ballot measure petitions currently circulating that involve online sports betting; one would allow tribes to license to non-tribal companies like DraftKings, while the other ("coincidentally" sponsored in part by two of the tribes that are "major financial sponsors" of the TV ad) would limit it to being run strictly by the tribes.

I look at the expenses they are laying out to attract new customers and have to wonder how much the average sports bettor is really worth? One of my friends did a deep dive into DraftKings for his work, looking for a reason not to invest, and came away raving about it. He loves the company's future.

I also love the companies future but I am not real high now on their financials. They have a market cap today of $8 billion but Jason Robbins holds about an equal amount of private shares so if he released them it could dilute the market by 50%.

I have stock in Draft Kings. March 15 / 2021 the stock sold for 72.00 and one year later on March 15 / 2022 it sold for 15.00. These companies lose a lot of money building up a client base and giving away lots of money in bonuses to entice gamblers to join. I did not buy stock until this year and have been buying a bit as it drops. The last 5 days has seen the stock increase 21%. It will eventually be profitable but until then the stock will have a bumpy road. Growing pains.

I don’t think the customer acquisition and what they’re spending on it is about sports betting. It’s about the inevitability of having them when more of these states convert to full blown online casinos after realizing sports betting isn’t bringing in the revenue they hoped for.

I’m not so confident they know what they’re doing they’re on pace to be Caesars bankruptcy 2.0; but the end game isn’t sports bettors.

I love DK. Just put in a withdrawal minutes ago. First one a month ago went very smoothly. Maybe two business days? It might have been one. Only other one I’ve withdrawn from is Caesars and that was at least 3, maybe 4 days. Frankly that is a trivial factor for me. The bonus offers by being a ‘VIP’ make DK the best out of DK, BR, FD, C, and MGM by far.
The offer yesterday to basically give me $50 on the Gonzaga game is, well, someone giving me free money.
Next week I’ll make my first FD withdrawal so we’ll see how that goes.

that's an interesting point you made

I searched it out and according to Forbes total gambling revenue in the 2nd quarter of 2021 in the U.S. was 13.6 billion while sports betting was only 889 million

I was trying to find out the % bet on online casino games vs. brick & mortar but I wasn't able to find it

I would guess that lack of trust in betting on online games is a big factor in that

Update: WynnBet has been, by far, the worst payer. I've been waiting to be paid for 5 days now and nothing. I'm sure they're good for it but just don't know what they're doing. DRAFTKINGS, as I said earlier, paid me (in my bank account) within in 5 minutes on 3 different occasions. WynnBets can't even do it in 5 days!

The app is as good as the others but their payment leaves a lot to be desired. All apps being comparable I'll be continuing with DraftKings.

PS As I said before, I am from New York and we've had sportsbook app betting for a month now. So I've checked out virtually all of the 8 available sportsbooks for NY. .

How has your experience with PointsBet been? Not the withdrawal, but offers, opportunities, etc?

No problem with PointsBet. I haven't bet with them. They, like others, just offer a deposit match. Most of the 8 that I tried out were right before the Super Bowl and offered $3-$400 in either cash or free bets. So I tried them 1st. I have downloaded all 8 apps and played with them.

WynnBet currently has an offer where you deposit & bet $10 & win loser draw you'll get $200 in free bets. $50 a week for 4 weeks. Read the terms, not sure if it's for just New York State or for all new customers. That's how I got on to WynnBets. Like I said earlier they are the worst payers by far but I'm sure one of these days I'll get paid. I'm not worried about getting paid. Draft king did it in 5 minutes from start to finish. Most are 2 to 3 days and WynnBet by far the worst at 5 days and still nothing.

Did you get the boost to +500 (Max $25) on St. Peter's? That was a real fun game to watch.

FanDuel gives me my money the next day, but the promos make that app worth the wait!

There isn't another app out there even close to the promos I get as a FanDuel VIP!

I did! Buttt.... I hedged it so much (I really thought St Peters was going to be annihilated) that I made around $10....)
Yesterday had 'mystery profit boost' on NBA same game parlay.... 10, 25, 50, or 75%....I got 75%! Allowed $250 bet...... I did GREAT on my small NBA same game parlays yesterday.... the $10 version at Caesars (free $5 bet for each one)..... but lost the biggie.....So I ended up losing a few dollars overall.....
One three team parlay yesterday was cruising.... Just needed Sabres to lose.... when they were down 4-0 I was already counting my money.... it turned out not to be 'my money'....

Haha. I bet that too! It always seems to be the Sabres who ruin things. I blame you! :)

Yesterday the RedWings blew a nice payout. I had them boosted with over 3.5 goals and the ML. They lost in OT.

DK & FD need to get off their damn asses and get their operations up and running in Nevada. We can use some competition. Plus I'm itching to get back into playing DFS. When are they going to get their Nevada gaming license approved? I bet a lot of the big casinos have a say in them obtaining their licences. Some damn competition between the books would be a good thing.
