I've made the following bets ::
Detroit +7 (-110)
Seattle +5.5 (-110)
I'm now tracking the Pats line, and certainly would take it at -3 (+100) available at the Hilton and Leroy's. But I'm not there, but it's my pick for the week.
(Thanks to JLogan and EvenBob for some inspiration this week)

I got -3 New England (-105) On with Bodog last night.
I was very to see the Lions game made TV after the Dome collapsed in Minnesota. Definitely a curate's egg of a game given the score, but I've not seen the Lions line control a game like for.. erm... ever?

I couldn't believe how much money was coming in on the Bears yesterday. Just before kick-off I placed a wager on the Patriots -3 at even money at Red Rock. I was counting the cash before I could get home to watch the game as I was following the score on my phone.
The public continues to get crushed this year by the books and since I usually bet against anything the public is in love with I have had my best NFL season ever.
One public trend I love to bet in the NBA is to watch the injury report and look for significant line movements when a key player is announced out for a certain game. I know last year Lebron and Kobe were both announced out of the game around noon on game day. Immediately the Cavs went from favorites to dogs and the same for the Lakers and both teams won outright. Usually a team can make up for the loss of a key player for at least one game if not a couple, but will start to struggle after a few games.
Just something to watch for.
