I had a losing day yesterday. Dropped $36, verifiable via my Northbet account. I really botched things up.
Losing is always tough. I remember the last time I had a losing month. I think it was the fall of '97. Kasparov had lost to Deep Blue, which was deeply affecting, and I lost money to sports books. My mood ring was always black. Little known fact -- the Heaven's Gate tragedy had nothing to do with flying saucers. They psychically knew that both Kasparov and I were going to lose in the same year, and they couldn't bear to witness it.
That's the heavy burden perennial winners face. When you lose, it affects damn near everyone.
