I am moved to add to the list of side prizes. Instead of the “closest to unJon” from last year, I would propose adding a $50 consolation prize to the person whose wins divided by losses most closely matches the Golden Ratio. Confidence picks included just as per the official calculation. This prize can not be won by someone that is already winning an official Mission prize, and in that case the prize will roll to the next closest person, etc.

Go ahead and do yours, IMO. My prizes are not cash, and yours is more attainable. I don't think anyone has ever had 3.14:1 in this game, so mine will just go to the winner.

I think Ayecarumba means that because the golden ratio is 8:5, it implies a winning percentage of 61.5% (= 8/13) and that 61.5% is a rather low win rate for finishing 2nd.

I am highly confident he didn’t mean that, but rather he referred to the fine print in the official Golden Ratio rules. (Those that win an official Mission prize are ineligible, the Golden Ratio award would then go to the next closest person, etc.)

Yes, I'm giving 2 others. One is for the most 6-0 or 5-0 weeks, the other is most 0-6 or 0-5 weeks. Both can be won using default picks. Neither can be won by non-submission of picks.

Incorrect, we're missing Romes, but I'll have to check for defaults. OneNickelMiracle revised his Picks in a later PM, so the offending Picks have been removed. I just saw that Miplet posted and was responding to that, so I'm not actually, 'Finished,' yet.

I think looking for and adding Romes' defaults, if any, will be the last thing I need to do.

Yes, logically there must be at least 61 wrong picks in week 4. In week 3, there was a theoretical minimum of at least 43 wrong picks - because there were a lot more common picks. And in Week 2 there was a theoretical minimum of 50 wrongs picks. So those numbers indicate that this week the forum contestants picked on both sides of a lot more wagers.

I'm pretty sure I had a perfect set of picks and ruined it by replacing them with a set of losers. I did go with the Chiefs because of the Stafford news.
