Ignoring taxes, the value of the ticket is $66,330 given a 22 percent chance for TT to win the championship, according to 538.

Most sites currently have Texas tech listed as 4-1. That’s pretty much what you’re getting by buying this ticket for 60k.

So in terms of relation to the current market , I’m not sure why one would buy this ticket. Unless maybe you don’t live near a state where it’s been legalized. Plus you’d have to put 60k up or get a group together to put the 60k up.

Prop swap advertises itself as a place to get better odds than the books currently offer. Not the case here though.

Best odds I see are are +400 with an almost 10% house edge. That would make the ticket worth about (0.2 / 1.1) x $301500 or just under $55000
