I got my Sugar House payout today. Now I can put that in one of these other promos! I have nobody to split the deal with so will just take my chances.

GambleOn podcast said that PA is currently the center of the universe when it comes to gambling news. I figure there to be several more sports books, so we can work this like its 2005.

Did you just grind it out? How much did you profit off of the free 250

I screwed up and just got $250. Did a live-bet sale while a dog was ahead hoping they would fall behind and collect both ends. But should I complain about a free $250?

That's not remotely close to ideal AP. It is the best way to kill the promotion.

It would have been ideal if the dog had fell behind to stay. I don't see how it will kill their promotion. They offer live betting and I took live betting.

Sports is affecting PA casinos.

Per GambleOn, 3 PA casinos petitioned to lower slot machine counts. One PA rep fought it as PA places mafia-level tax rates on slots, and he cared more about that than the jobs the sports books provide. Mostly it is sports books taking floor space from slots, and of course the least played slots would be removed. Request granted.

Meanwhile, Rivers in Pittsburgh is being remodeled so some slots had to be yanked. Slot revenue went up! At least the owners are seeing beyond having a sea of slots instead of a sports book.

RIVERS PITTSBURGH REPORT

The permanent sports book opened this week. For those of you who know the casino, it is where the "Levels" bar used to be. This was a dead corner of the casino, now it has life.

Plenty of seats and it edges up to a bar for gametime enjoyment. I assume there will be waitresses walking the place when it is busier. When you see all the huge screens you might think back just 20 years when such a thing would not be possible. I can see it being SRO for big games or matches.

OTOH, the betting window is not right there and not labeled well. I am sure they want you using the kiosks, but come on, guys.

Anyone else see the 50% "profit boost" at Rivers/Sugar House? Trying to get more details, but looks like it goes all year. That is powerful! Even if only on one game per week looks like great EV.
