Watching the Open
1st day Tiger in 39th place
2nd day, 29th place
3rd day 6th place
Getting up this morning, I thought this will still be tough

OMG, Tiger in 3rd place just 1 shot back
Unbelievable, I did not think I would see something like this again
Sunday, a Major, Tiger 1 behind before the turn
This could be history

(Added edit)
Tiger tied for the lead as he plays the 9th
Jordan Spieth blows an easy putt to go from 1 in front of Tiger to 1 behind

Tiger Woods is back to playing the game I'm familiar with. The one where the thrill of victory is dashed to death on the rocks of despair with regularity. I never really recognized that immortal type play where you surge in a blaze to the lead sinking putts with machine precision.

Quote:

The wheels came off in the third round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, as Woods was all out of sorts Saturday on his way to a 3-over 73 that dropped him from contention at Firestone's South Course.

It was one of the most surprising rounds from Woods in months, as he opened the week 66-68. At five back entering Saturday, it seemed the 42-year-old was in good position to make a charge on Moving Day. Couple that position with his leading the PGA Tour in third-round scoring average entering the day and having won this event at this course eight times, and it seemed a charge was downright likely.

There's no secret. Just know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.
