I haven't had a chance to look over the board yet, I'm still smarting from the Packer's Monday Night "Foolball" performance... ugh.

I found that I was in very close agreement with almost all of the lines this week. The only game I'd bet if I was in LV this weekend is San Diego -8 to crush Arizona by at least two TDs.

Okay, have has a chance to take a look. I'm swearing off the points totals again... while I probably hit around 50% long term on the line, on points, I'm around 10%. It's impressive how often I get it wrong.
The first one is based on the ability of the Phins defence to contain the Pats. I think they can, and the Phins will make the AFC East really interesting this year.
Miami +1 -110 (WynnLV) 2 Units
I also think Da Bears are proving plenty of stickability this year, while the Giants are the same horrible undependable, under achievers they were last year. Elly will get lit up at least once, cough the ball up.
Chicago +4 -110 (WynnLV) 2 Units
I was considering the +1 with the Rams, but I'm not sure which Seattle team is actually playing this year, and Jackson might be feeling the effort of lifting the entire team on his shoulders. The Lions at +14.5 is also almost tempting, but the secondary is ripe for a plucking, and Rogers is a better QB than Favre these days at that, so unless S.Hill finds a way to play the Megatron into the game, 2 TDs is not enough of cushion.
So instead, I'm liking the Falcons and really not liking the Niners, who have a dumb coach running an chaotic team. I'd have this at around a 8-10 point game, so will take :
Atlanta -6.5 -110 (Station) 2 Units.
Cheers all, happy times!

I only bet on one a week for entertainment and this one's a sure thing: Atlanta at -7. Got a dime on it. SF's dazed & confused, & the Falcons just went into NO and beat the best.

No such thing as a sure thing in football...
