I'm back to give this another try. As much as I still believe that the NBA is the worst of the major sports insofar as officials' influence on a game is concerned, and therefore I still believe that it is the World Wrestling Association of major sports I will give this another shot. I have previously tried a variety of algorithms on the NBA, both spread and money line, and they worked horrendously.
I'm going to go back to trying to come up with an algorithm that mimics what I use in MLB money line picks, since that shows success.

I am not going to be wagering on any of these picks. This just a trial and error stage. No one else should wager on these either. All are for 100 units in order to track progress.

Steel, how'd you do last year with this system? And do you do NFL too?

Do you find lots of variance year to year in your results? I have a friend who loves "underdogs" but in the years that chalk dominates he is down big. Normally chalk comes in around 60% (I'd assume) but when closer to 65-70% all those dog systems seem to flounder.

Hey bazooka, what I am doing with the NBA this year is new. I have previously tried different algorithms in the NBA and did so without success. I hope to have found one that works this year.

I have done NFL with OK success. My best has been MLB money line picks. Tested for several years and my +130dogs there average around 45-47% with an average return of around 150.
