Anyone have experience with different Pay Per Head providers here? I have been with realpriceperhead.com for about 5 years now and for various reasons would like to make a switch. As far as I can tell, the industry is segmented and there doesn't appear to be any particular provider dominating the industry. Any recommendations please?

Thanks,

Oscar

Hi Oscar,

I'm the manager for

You said you aren't happy with realpriceperhead.com - Can I ask why?

I'm always VERY curious as to why someone would not want to continue with their current provider, especially since we hardly ever see any agents leave us. We'd like to use your feedback to improve our own service, since we believe it is important to learn from the mistakes of others.

I will say that I have a few tips for finding good PPH providers:

1- Test and see if phones are answered during crunch time
2- Get test accounts and see if the software is something you like
3- Verify what is included in pricing, some places advertise low rates but then charge extra for EVERYTHING.
4- You can always put one of their websites into an 'uptime monitoring service' - these are sites that will verify if and when a site goes down. This way, you can see how often the PPH provider has system issues.

@admin - I read the Terms and conditions of this site. I don't think this is an advertisement post, I'm simply looking for feedback as well as trying to provide value by offering my insight. But if you deem this post unacceptable, please accept my most sincere apology, it is not my intention to break your terms and conditions.

John,

I'm not familiar with your services, but I think we would welcome your participation on this board. It's very much in line with many other members' offerings to offer direct dialogue and advice on their products. Thanks for offering to assist our member.

Thanks beachbumbabs,

I appreciate the response. I try to ensure all posts I make create value, but some forums are very sensitive about new members signing up from a corporate account.

If anyone has any questions as to local bookmaking, software that local bookmakers can use to run their business, or things like office pool software, I'll be glad to help.

Assuming you are talking local bookmakers in the US, please understand that bookmaking is illegal here. Encouraging anyone to break the law is against the rules here. Or so I was told when posting tax advice. I am sure you can add to this site, just be careful with items involving felonies.

I actually had no idea what price per head meant but if its some sort of low key bookie software its not much use to me.

Now I doubt the feds are going to come down heavily on someone who operates an office pool but some sort of moderate bookie action would definitely bring out some sort of law enforcement efforts.

I'm sorry if I might have come off in the wrong manner.

I'm not encouraging anyone to break the law.

Bookmaking is a world wide business. In many places it is legal. In many places it is not. In some places poker is OK, but not sports, casino but not lottery, etc. Some places you can offer it if you are on the water. Some places on land.

We simply provide the software to be able to be a bookie and take action.

You must ensure you are in compliance. Any risks or legal considerations are not for us to provide. I would also suggest you DON'T make ANY legal decision based on what you read online. The only way to ensure the legality of your actions is consulting with an attorney.

Our call center is legal and licensed in Costa Rica.
