Or anyone who can answer for that matter. I've been thinking about this question for a few months now. The Wizard at one point talked about the 1/2 point parlay tickets during the NFL season on the Gambling with an Edge Episode. He said that he'd bring a stack of them to South Point (or some casino) and they didn't like that.
Given that the sports books takes a commission (Right? The point spread win pays a little less than even money) on bets, why would they not like the Wizard's action?
Thanks in advance.

I think its because the parlay ticket lines are static. One can just look at the current point spread lines and take the more advantageous line on the parlay tickets. I guess they don't want bettors taking too much advantage of them.

There is a thread somewhere that discusses all of that. It should explain everything you want to know.Quote: debitncreditOr anyone who can answer for that matter.
