On my weekly 4 hour drive to reno from ca, I get a weak signal but can make out most of the show, I thinkits AM station around 730 or 740. It comes on at 7pm from vegas
Its 2 guys sponsored by a sports book (i forget the name but I know they say the TROPICANA has a branch)
They go over all the games college and pro coming up the next 2 days...and give their leans and picks on various games.
its amazing I get the signal in my car near sacramento on the way.
The question I have in general is....when people have a radio show sponsored by a sportsbook....does anyone have any suspicions that the book may ask the "experts" on certain games to suggest a lean on a team that they want more action on in order to balance things out? Are they totally independent? Or are they under the thumb of the sponsor?
Are these 2 guys respected in the industry, or are they just 2 guys talking?

I think he's talking about KDWN 720. (730 is too close to San Francisco's KCBS 740.)
