Didn't we have have a Superbowl pool last year?
It was a pick from each conference and a final game score.
Did I miss it this year?
It required a selection prior to Week 1 or so I thought?

No, I don't think you missed it this year.
For a pool of this type, there's no reason why someone still couldn't put one together in the next couple of weeks. It doesn't HAVE to start prior to the season.

I'll go for the "alternative" Super Bowl pool:
The main halftime act will be Bruno Mars (okay, I saw the announcement on the Fox pregame show)
The after-Super Bowl shows on Fox will be New Girl (which they already announced in May) and, since Fox has aired the debuts of animated shows whenever they had half-hour slots after Super Bowls, Murder Police.
