Mission, if you keep the same format as last year and wish to use my grading program again, you're welcome to. During my lunch hour at work today I updated it, to include the 2014 NFL schedule.

I tested it and played around with it for a bit, and everything seems to be working fine.

To refresh your memory, last year your format asked us to pick five games each week. We could take the point spread line, or we could take the over/under line, or we could take both. We were allowed one Confidence pick each week, if desired, worth two points.

The program recognizes both the city name (Green Bay) or the mascot name (Packers) from the players, or both (Green Bay Packers).

It also recognizes most all of the common mascot nicknames, i.e. skins, pats, hawks, jags, bolts, pokes, vikes, etc.

It recognizes most all of the common two-letter and three letter team abbreviations, i.e. SD, TB, SF, KC, GB, AZ, NYG, NYJ, etc.

It considers a pick a Confidence pick as long as the word 'confidence' is listed along with the pick. It also checks to see if a user entered more than one Confidence pick.

It checks to see if a player entered an opposing selection.

Etc., etc., etc. There's lots of other error checks and bells and whistles.

As you might recall, initially we had a few bugs last year, since many of the players entered their picks in all sorts of different ways, but I think it was bug free during the final month or two. You'll want to refresh yourself on how to use it, but it should make things easier again.

Oh yea! It also optionally created a text file in the root folder of your C:\ drive. The text file was a weekly summary in a table form, specifically formatted using the Wizard's HTML codes.

I'd love to participate again and can definitely get my girlfriend into this kind of pickem, unless there is a fear that we could collude or that she's invisible and I'm just trying to get an edge with two accounts.

Pierce, I hope that you are able to handle running this for an entire season. You made mention that your life is very hectic.

The season starts in a few days and it does not appear that this has gotten off the ground yet. I am willing to run it if you don't have the time but either way we need to get this going ASAP if it is going to go.

Hoping Mission will run this, if only as an escape mechanism.

I am in on this if Mission runs it and offer to sponsor his $25 adder to the pool. For the work he puts in running this, he should not be out of pocket as well.

The season starts Thursday, but if I remember correctly, we never used the games on Thursday last year. If we continue with that same format, we have a few extra days to put it together.

I appreciate the sponsorship offer, but respectfully decline and will cover it. I'm fine on a day-to-day basis, so a one-shot $25 remains an inconsequential amount of money to me, I just have no extra money or money with which to AP, at the moment.

I will have no problems running this all season, especially not since I have EdCollins' program to use!
