Where is the best place to bet the horses on Fremont street? I am looking for a good place to watch and play the races this summer.

The Plaza just remodeled their book, so that's worth a look. Otherwise, I would say Golden Nugget or El Cortez. The nice thing about downtown is everything is close together so you can check out all the books and pick the one that feels best for you.
