First, for the Milwaukee Bucks to give up an awfully nice lead over the last quarter and a partial to the Cleveland Cavaliers is disgraceful. I would suggest that their nickname would be more apt if they switched out the "B" for an "F".

I'm glad you're paying attention. Yes. I removed the metric that I was using to limit the selections. In tracking the results, it initially appeared to be working....until I went back and noticed that the selections without the metric were actually starting to hit a higher %. So I switched back.

I thought that the randomized picks would be much closer to 50%. After all the book makers want equal action on both sides, I tracked NFL in this manner and the lines were lazer sharp. There is still time for a comeback (lol) but I may have to put more effort into sports bets. Thanks again for adding this for me to your picks, it is providing me with some valuable insight. I am very interested in how this turns out at season end in terms of units won or lost.
I will throw this out there and see what you guys think. How much of the line is based on just public perception? You could do analysis of data all day and come out with a perfect line but if all the money is going one way the line would shift. Is it possible to take advantage of this somehow? I have not thought about all the intangibles and even how to go about quantifying this into making bets but possible future AP playing off public perception?
