Here, screw a link If you have good numbers, post them here for review. But don't expect to be treated with any more respect than steeldco.

Im not sure about the other guy, but I have no interest in dealing with disgruntled trolls who have no life and cant so much as hold up my jockstrap picking winners but like to run their mouth because they have the luxury of remaining anonymous in the safety of their trailer park.

How much did you bet on each game to get the +0.68 unit win?
I did not see this in the links
Thanks

?

for example a line of -120 means risking 1.2 units to win 1 unit... and so forth

If you win the bet it is +1 unit (unless otherwise specified)
If you lose the bet it is -whatever the number was (for example -1.20 Units on a -120)
If the pick is a dog and it is + money and a win, then you count it as +1.20 units if it was +120
If the pick is a dog and it is a loss, then it is -1

Hope that helps

I got it.
Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

I got confused seeing the $ bet on this page
http://www.pickmonitor.com/user/thebayareabeast/Baseball

I was expecting you to show how much you bet on each game. Like 200, 100, 200

Thanks again

I was going to ask how much you are betting on each game as your links show you bet 1 to 5 units per bet. (It was the $300, $200 bets that are confusing)

Like this:
Brewers -144
2units bet

Giants -171
2units bet

Angels -153
1units bet

Looks like it will remain a secret

Guido, to answer your question, he flat bets I.E. Brewers -144. If your average bet size is around $150, bet each game for the listed numbers. If your average unit is $30, multiply bet size by 20%. I hope that answers your question. If not, let me know.

He is up 20 units this year on single unit bets as I have followed him all season.

Thanks.
I actually understand the sports betting math.
It is very simple.

I work in the Insurance industry and we are known for data and statistical manipulation to prove that a competitors product, that is identical to our product, is actually worse than ours because of how we show the data.

The capper page I linked to does the same thing.
He looks not to flat bet but makes 1 to 5 unit bets, star bets whatever laying the odds most times.

-140 bets needs over a 60% win rate to have a 68% chance of showing a profit after 200 such average bets.

His data table shows he makes, for example, a $200 bet on a -169 game and nets $200.
This is to influence those that do not know any better that he wins more.

A classic accounting trick that ALL cappers use.
Hell, the client pool for these that pay cappers decreases each year as the number of cappers that want those fish increase.
They have to do something to show they are better than the others.

I have wall street friends that do the same to get their clients to buy and sell more times, just to show a higher total net profit ROI than another broker even tho the amount risked and won are identical.

I was going to have fun with this thread.
No more

A tout with two identities. Shades of Jimmy the Greek Snyder touting one team on tv and the other on his private service LOL

Guido,

I looked at that link. He varies his bet size but I do not when he sends me picks and we go off flat betting for running results in my case. I did not look at that link before my last post.

When he loses a game, I.E. he multiplies the line by units size as -150 times 300= -450

A win for a 200 bet is a 200 win but if that game lost at -150 it would show as -300.

I think the numbers are honest unless I am missing something

Exactly my point.
he shows he bets $200 on a -169 game and his net is +$200
That is confusing.
I just showed his data to 5 other people in my office and they got a kick and a good laugh out of it.

he is mixing dollars and units in the same data.
This is a classic method of manipulating data.
Mixing apples and oranges

I do it as my main source of income.
I compare insurance products, identical in every way,
but because I mix up data, I can show one product is way better, to my client, than the other.

And you do not see this, exactly what was meant to be.

One can not mix $200 wagers with 2 units won.
They are not the same, but cappers treat them the same to make their data look better.

Stock brokers do it
Insurance Brokers do it
Sports Cappers do it

We are all good at it, or we do not make much money for ourselves.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg question.

Touts with Lock of the Year, Monday night special , SEC blue plate special, etc.

Or Stock brokers with Gold FunD, mixed assets fund, and Derivative Download .

I can spot a frauf at 50 paces and nobody could figure out Bernie Madoff.

Got a nephew in jail for armed robbery, another for drugs, and Bernie goes to Camp Fluffy ???
